All of the starters from the 2021 team are long gone now. Kelly is out of excuses at this point.

That’s not how this works. That’s not how any of this works.

Kelly screwed up bringing Polian and firing Corey Raymond. He also had some bad luck with the DT hire that got sick.

LSU will be fine…. Let’s just hope we can keep a few coaches for more than a year or two.

If you called him by name nobody would be surprised. Funny how fans have forgotten how much they mocked and laughed at Kelly before he came here.

You all are as bad as white house occupants. You blame everything on the previous administration. That was 3 years ago and BK's best season was with what was left of that roster. This is on BK and Woodward. You lose at least 2 recruiting classes when you fire a coach who was a good recruiter.

That he must’ve inherited a train wreck from the previous coach

Saban won a national championship in his 3rd year and he inherited a lot worse than Kelly did.

and yet not only did he lead us to an undefeated national championship, that was our only 10 win regular season since 2012. We haven’t been elite in a while under anyone except that one lightning in a bottle season

Oh really?

15 of the 27 signees from Big Game Brian's first class not tied to Orgeron have left the program. With the two thirds of that class being blue chip recruits.

Kelly is doing worse with his own players.

I would tell you to years ago LSU went 8-4 and 4-4 in conference with a national championship coach in Les Miles

Same record. Nice try dufus

I would have assumed it was a down year brought about by things like replacing a Heisman QB, replacing both coordinators, and dealing with a higher than average number of key injuries when he was still working on re-building depth from a decimated roster left by the prior coach.

Saban had a worse record in his third year at LSU (8-5) than Kelly, and he inherited a lot BETTER team than Kelly did.

After having the Heisman winner at QB and one of the worst defenses ever at LSU. If he had a decent defense, they are in the playoffs last year. Also in his 3rd year with a transfer portal that you can quickly change your team. Just excuses. He did win the SEC West in 1st year so it wasnt so bad.

Just stop with this nonsense.

1. Saban won the SEC championship and the Sugar Bowl in his 2nd season.

2. LSU was rolling and 6-1 until Matt Mauck broke his leg against Florida in the 4th quarter with lsu up big in his 3rd season. No broken leg, lsu rolls to a sec west title.
