NO!

So how the hell are football players that went to NFL mini camp, got cut and never played in an NFL game, are being considered “PRO PLAYERS”???

This is lunacy!

Absolutely not. You haven’t earned our Title until you receive your first EGA from your DI after the Crucible.

If we're going to play stupid analogy games:

If today is my last day of employment for company X and tomorrow they announce an incredible bonus for current employees can I have my old job back?

Would I even have standing to sue?

Ping Pong, quit using silly realistic analogies, those could have been Devil Dogs still get to claim they went to PI or SD and got paid, PLUS they signed a CONTRACT!

This is one huge witch hunt against Kiffin and LSU whom the SEC gives no shits about.

Nice UVA logo, Geaux Hoos Geaux!

Hey dumbass… his point is well proven, you can go to boot camp, but if you don’t cut it and graduate you’re not a Marine…. Cough cough if you go to training camp but you don’t cut it and make a team roster… were you an NFL player, completely F’n different than being an employee already jackass, Army logo, makes sense!

No shite!

I'm using the analogy that shows the stupidity behind any of the athletes suing for the 5 for 5 rule not just the pros.

Your analogy would be accurate if the employer announced a bonus for all previous employees of the last 4 years but excluded you and 40 others.

But… if you show up to get fitted for a marine uniform and train just a little bit, but not too much, it’s actually okay.

There are plenty that collect a check that didn't make it through boot camp. Bad analogy...

The 5 for 5 rule specifically excludes all Class of 22 athletes who ran out of eligibility during the 2026 academic year.
