with many returning WR, etc. then we will be dynamic on offense.

Remember he's getting actual coaching too (which ASU appeared to be a bit of a train-wreck). And they will work on him hard for the zone defense deficiency.

I'm not a Daniels or Nuss fan boy - I'm an LSU fan. I hope they all compete and the best player wins. And if its Daniels and he's makes the normal amount of improvement a QB should in year 2 in a system with a better OL, then we'll have a good offense.

There’s absolutely no way Daniels can improve according to the board mongoloids

He’s a 5year qb if he was ever gonna be dynamic it would have happened already. You will get the same thing you got last year that is his ceiling.

I just don’t see the kid magically developing the processing capacity, confidence, and skill to become a better than average passer over one spring and summer. I hope he proves me wrong.

Dude he’s had 4 years. Next year will be a mimic of this year. Some flashes of greatness and a few duds.

the confidence and knowledge of the system will be there, so its set up for JD5 to have a better year in ‘23.
BUT: sadly some rantards wont let go of Nuss’ 2nd half garbage time yards in a blowout SECCG

So you don't believe improved coaching can help a player develop? Got it.

Mostly just needs to get rid of the ball earlier. The idiots here will always love the backup QBs. It’s what idiot fans do.

He better because he might be the starter but,he will be on a short leash now with our offensive line providing protection Kelly is not going to put up with him not pushing the ball down the field with his arm. Especially with Walter Howard sitting on the bench, people try to make up something with him being on the scout team all year but there's no truth in that Walker knew he was red sharing the whole year next year is a different story

Not, that is 1 sack and incompletion in 10 better. That is only 400 more yards if you had a 4,000 yard passing season and if you had a 1,000 yard rushing season that is only 100 yards. No that ain’t enough to win the SEC west next year.

Kelly got Ian Book drafted into the third round. Kelly and his staff do a great job with talent evaluation and player development.

Some seem to forget where Kelly started with this roster.

People here are saying he's had four years to develop as if they were consistent/stable.

Two years with the same oc and many weapons returning should have you excited, but I suppose you don't have confidence in the staff.

Too much common sense, what are you doing on this board?

If you’re suggesting he needs to improve you’re bashing him and not a real fan.

Not talking stats - talking the intangibles which come with coaching and experience. Little better decision making, little quicker decision making, new wrinkles, reading certain concepts better. I believe the staff know where improvement is needed (that’s new to us too). Let’s just see if it comes.

For a QB who trusts his legs more than his arm, yes.
