I actually didn’t know that about him. I’m not fond of lefty QBs either.

Same unless it's Michael Vick or Steve Young I'm not really fond of left handed QBs. I'm sure others can prove me wrong. Tua was great too.

What do you mean? LSU can’t fire him, is that what you meant by retire?

Steve Young says hi.

Yup. He may reclassify to a sr, and be on campus this spring. Which leaves the door open to take another qb from that jr class... baby Nuss

Nothing wrong with being left handed playing qb
Posted on 10/4/25 at 8:35 am to Jack Crevalle
I have a really bad taste in my mouth from the last time we had an ex NFL players lefty son at QB.

Garrett ran a good amount in high school too

You are right, he is more mobile than his brother and probably a better overall athlete. However, he isn't going to come to LSU. The fans have trashed his brother for playing through an injury. The Saints offense is horrible, so his Dad is not long for his job.
He will end up at Texas or Alabama, where he can whip our arse for many consecutive years.

I’ve been posting his stats every week on the recruiting board with a few personal insights. My son goes to his high school and I attend the home games
Didn’t have the greatest of games last night, but I’ll update his stats later today

Kelly hasn’t done anything to slight Nuss… If anything, he’s sticking by him through his struggles.

Is he though? I remember seeing shots of Nuss run around in the sane way when he was in high school. Not as many athletes on the field and he was one of the best usually. In college everyone is the star athlete from their towns and schools so he can’t outrun people like he might have could in high school.

He had a 50% completion rate that game and hasn’t thrown for 300 yards a single game this year. Pop threw for 600 Thursday night.

I'll go way out on a limb and say BK and Sloan are ready for the Nussmeir era at LSU to be over.

He's basically a more athletic Nuss.
