This is stupid but I will play.
IF A&M were stupid enough to blow the top of the market off by over 50%, it wouldn't be for Kelly. IF they were stupid enough to do that with Kelly, you can bet your arse Kelly would listen. And likely jump. Anyone would.
IF he took the job, there is no way in hell we match. It would be financial suicide. You cant increase the income of your largest salaried employee by over 50% and survive.

TAMU has never been a premier coaching job will ALWAYS be second fiddle in their home state and will continue to struggle to be a relevant team in November! Not to mention they’re just an extremely odd and cult like group of people!

No. I like BK but id just thank him for his service and go hunting for a new coach to lead our program.

It’ll be the B1G next year. Expanded playoffs. He’s closer at Oregon this year than LSU is with CBK.
So what can LSU offer him he doesn’t already have in Oregon? Money’s all I can think of.

Kelly has yet to prove he can win it all in the SEC. He couldn’t do it at ND with their puss schedules.Hell, Sylvester the cat won a NC at ND and then came to the USCe and the SEC and fell flat on his face. I have yet to see signs Kelly can bring LSU back to elite status. That doesn’t mean he won’t, but past performances elsewhere mean squat and throws no fear to SEC opponents.

Wouldn't be my money but no. Not proven anything yet. Recruiting definitely hasn't earned him a bonus. Lucky to get Daniels out of portal like Orgeron was to get a transfer named Burrow.
