Weak argument. Bama only averaged about 180 passing per game that year. They are a run heavy team. The defense gave up 500 yards and 31 first downs. They blew a double digit lead in the fourth quarter. You might be the only human alive that blames the Clemson loss on the offense.

Btw, the coordinator who called that game was shite canned too. He is now calling a top 10 offense in the NFL, yet Bama is vying for another natty.

It's going to be ok.

Can someone explain the show cause order? How does this affect Freeze in recruiting if, by some chance, he is hired?

You obviously don't want to win

Can't really help you nor do I want to explain why you're incredibly wrong on why Hugh Freeze would be a bad football hire

Enjoy the thread. Try not to spread your stupid

Sorry but firing 1 coordinator to hire another that you then have to fire isn’t good

Bama can get away with it because they have a top 1 recruiting class every year and run the ball on almost anyone.

Almost all other teams can’t just change OCs like a hat and keep going.

You post as if Canada isn't easily upgradeable. If a mediocre OC has the entire staff wanting to choke slam him, it's probably time to let him go, especially when you can hire someone better with relative ease.

Keeping Canada may not be in the best interest of O, but it is in the best interest of LSU. The guy is not half bad and we are not going to sign a QB if he leaves.

Plus we do not have $3mil to throw away and I can't believe Joe or King would allow this bullshite.

If he wants to leave, that is another matter, but I don't think he does,

You’re assuming he’s a mediocre OC

I think He is a good OC.

Really it’s not that we can’t upgrade from Canada, but forgive me when the only name floated out there is Ensminger.

Sigh. Nothing is being "floated". This is all fans talking shite on an internet forum.

Canada isn't even gone yet. Jesus, calm down.

So how many recruits did Canada bring in this recruiting cycle??? Dude had a whole year to recruit for LSU and simply didn't do his JOB!!! Not saying that is THE reason at all were having this talk. But come on, you really think they/O would allow consecutive years of a downward trend?

Hey dumb asses. Coach O is the HEAD coach. That's HIS decision to make. Now, if you don't like the decision fair enough. However, HEAD coaches make these decisions all the time. Don't act like this is something Coach O just discovered!!

You don't know this. None of us know anything fact based.

Were we going to sign one this year even if he stays? He wasn't present when LSU did in homes with any of our top offensive targets.

I would think no one would casually throw away $3M, which leads me to believe there are real issues in allowing Canada to stay.

The problem is Coach O doesn't have the track record to convince ANYONE he knows what the frick he's doing when it comes to the offensive side of the football

We don’t need freeze to have a great offense and certainly don’t need to hire a bible thumping hippocrite to win...what a fricking moron you are. You started spreading the stupid with your thread.

If you are a true fan of LSU and not just Orgeron, you would realize the big picture is that O is a huge problem in this situation and should receive all of the blame here

Ummm I'm pretty sure that there is something in his contract that states "Detriment of the team" meaning he can't say anything negative or fear the consequences (Firing w/o recourse)

There's been an allegation (Lake City TX recruit) that Canada allegedly told the recruit "he won't be here for long"

NOT SOMETHING you tell a recruit, much less a recruit whose parents are LSU ALUMNS (the parents called O and let them know what happened) (ALL ALLEGED from another post about Canada)

This would make sense, How often (in recent communications) have you seen Canada on FINAL PUSH Recruiting visits... He sort of disappeared

If this is the Case, he should be fired and move along
If he is gone after this game, he should be fired and move along

NOTHING GOOD CAN HAPPEN (THINK PR) with regards to LSU if you fire the GUY who would light it up against ND
***all you then are going to get is Whose fault Canada/O?

Like who?

I'm truly interested in who you think we can hire with ease that is better. To me the only person that LSU can hire with ease right now is Ensminger.
