As bitchy as half the fanbase gets anytime we deviate from GWG, it makes sense to use the all-white alts for at least one road game per year. They bitch more when we do it for home games.

and it's been that way since the mid 90s. If you look closely at the gold pants, the stripes don't match the jersey either. There is a small gold stripe on those, not a triple striple like on the jerseys and helmets
The stripe on the white pants and white helmets is actually the same exact stripe on the gold pants
It just isn't as obvious to see on the gold pants from far away because of the different contrast

I’ve always thought that lsu went from purple and gold to “devolving” into yellow and navy sometime in the Miles era.

way before that. Happened when we switched to Nike in the 90s. And it only sometimes looks like that on TV, probably due to the material and whatnot. In person, they've always looked 100% purple

The lowest paid intern at Nike has more pull than an LSU equipment manager. It would be the equivalent of a 5 yr old at Christmas telling some 13 yr old in China how to build his electric scooter.

All whites are arse. Idk why everyone likes them so much. Looks nothing like LSU. We resemble Auburn more than LSU in them.

I thought the lighting at Clemson was prime, same with Texas in 2019. Their lights have a slightly darker tint than TS
