LSU has not beaten Alabama in Coleman back to back seasons in nearly thirty years. Losing on the road to a talented Alabama team is not a big deal and probably expected by a lot of level headed fans.

Are you sitting down? Deep breaths, baws...it’s extremely difficult to win on the road in the SEC. the conference has lots of talent these days and EVERY home team in the conference gets very favorable calls at home. It’s legitimately how it’s always been, whether we agree with it or not.

LSU is going to make the NCAA tournament after losing its three best players and our recruiting class decimated by the scandal. The idea that LSU is even in the discussion right now is incredible to anyone with a normal pulse.

I think you raise good points, but the panic after this loss would have been much less if we had beaten Vandy

Keep bringing those excuses for losses and then chastising fans for not showing up to home games

Our fans do deserve criticism for not going and not cheering when they’re there. This team deserves a lot better than what the fans have given them, but at least you’re consistent with your horrible takes

Talented 14 and 11 Alabama team lol. This what we doing now? LSU is supposed to be better than this. You dont hear the elite schools crying about road games. They win those.

I guess checking the recruiting rankings is a burden for you. Alabama has talent.

I don’t think this is a salient point after playing in a packed Coleman coliseum for a team that is 13-10 (prior to the game) and losing record in the SEC.

Also cant use the “they are a basketball school” for Alabama either

Also wait a minute, earl. You were right there with the rant roasting this team in the OOC schedule over how bad we were and how laughable it was when I said LSU was going to the ncaa tournament

But now that isn’t good enough for you that’s rich.

It’s not this one loss tho. It’s four straight games now where we either lost or got pushed to the limit by a shite Missouri team. It’s a bad trend where the team looks lethargic for large stretches of games.

I do believe they will end up being fine and make the tourney, but cause for concern is warranted. We’ve played a little above out level prior to this stretch so it’s kind of evened out with tough close losses lately. Obviously a big game Tuesday against a really good team. You get that you set yourself up well, you don’t you’re still in a position with a weaker backend of the schedule.

Keep the last 6 minute energy up and we will win the majority of games down the stretch

What a ridiculous and unimportant stat

No one on this coaching staff or team played in 1991 or even 2015 @ Alabama

You’re trying to use that as an excuse to losing to a terrible team on the road? Really?

Losing to Auburn was a nothing burger
Losing @ Vandy was a terrible loss
Losing @ Alabama was a bad loss

If you’re looking for excuses, get a better one, because LSUs record at @ Alabama since 1991 is irrelevant

1-4 in their last 5

14-11 overall

man i feel like people pick and choose when they want to say LSU is becoming a basketball school. At some point they are going to have to surge past schools like this. Bama has been to the tournament like twice in the last 15 years. Its hard to hang my hat on these fake rivalries

exactly what I said then was the root of this team issues, everyone is saying now

I actually dont think this LSU team is above losing to Alabama. Im just here to give you shite for thinking Alabama is good.

This, this. All of this. Auburn is down 1 to 11-13 Mizzou right now. Kentucky struggled to the wire with Ole Miss.

So fricking what? LSU basketball was loaded in 2015 and went what, 19-13 or something like that? Who made Nate Oats a badass all of a sudden? He inherited a talented roster and isn’t doing that much, but don’t tell Alabama fans that.

Talented or not, that was a quad 1 game fo us and for them. There's a reason that there were metrics predicting an Lsu loss.

There better then what's being stated in this thread
