That is a very hungry fanbase for any level of success! Even if it is wired, they are doing great this year! We are so used to the success in the past two decades, it is not exciting anymore unless we are in the conversation of National Championships!

If we are being honest, it’s been that way for years not just recently. The A&M fans stay and support their team throughout the game.

I've been to a few A&M vs LSU games, as I live in Texas, and I agree. A&M environment puts us to shame. Anyone disagreeing is coping tbh. We should strive to do better, not make excuses.

2000-2019 LSU was an elite atmosphere and way better than Kyle. It's been pathetic since though, outside of one Bama game.

Bottom line, when LSU is good and playing a ranked opponent at night in TS, there is absolutely no other college stadium atmosphere that can match it. Do we have bullshite games with 85% capacity? Yes. Do people many times leave early? Yes. Yet, you will always see LSU ranked #1 in gameday atmosphere. Here's a neutral person's description of their experience in TS.

It's like their best season ever and are guaranteed to be in the playoff. and it's the first time in decades that they are a title contender. Not surprised they were pumped for an sec game in mid November. LSU was packed in 2003 and 2007 when were just starting to be great.

Cool: Let’s compare LSU’s next undefeated season to A&M’s next 4-5 loss season.

I was there. There are definitely things to like about their stadium experience, but there were a couple of things I was not a fan of at all.

Mainly the thing I disliked was that the stadium was seemingly designed to force everyone into very few entry/exit paths. It took way longer getting out of Kyle field than I have ever had getting in and out of Tiger Stadium.

The biggest thing I liked about the experience was their really nice shuttle system very close by the stadium that quickly got people away from the stadium and out towards the parking lots.

Also really nice student union building.

LSU’s in game experience has not been good lately. The DJ playing over the band is about as bad as it gets but they have tried to input too much NFL into the games but not in a good way. Something has to change.

The in game experience has sucked for a while now. The constant TV timeouts, the piped in shitty music, and the few times the band plays everyone under 30 is chanting STTDB basically guaranteeing more shitty piped in music.

However, it is unfair to compare our buy in to that of a cult

Do you really think that the 2019 unranked Aggie game vs unranked South Carolina was better than the atmosphere in Tiger Stadium that year?

Better is subjective. But the parallel is you can't compare an atmosphere for a game when the program is having its best season in decades vs. one where the team is struggling...or even just mediocre.

LSU had already clinched the SEC West by the time they played 7-4 A&M. The game was also the Saturday after Thanksgiving. A time where many students and people in general are out of town. Yet, the stadium was packed with a great atmosphere. I'm sure one that rivaled the A&M game on Saturday. Why? Because LSU was championship contender having one of its best seasons ever.

People hate the truth, especially when it involves them. Tiger stadium is a shadow of its not so distant self. Our image is existing on past reputation.

If you have not noticed LSU is having some issues and we lost our coach among many things. You can’t compare A&M to Tiger Stadium at the moment of course the experience is better at the moment, that’s understandable. Besides Johnny football could not beat LSU in either stadium! Hold your horses.

You’re all good brother, I love LSU and was at the Aggie game with family.

It’s apples and oranges comparing the two, we don’t have a fish camp and drink the kool aid like they do.

Kyle is known as a great venue. Point conceded. Would be even better if they blew bubbles (IDK, maybe they do). They're having their best season since when?

We're in the throes of one of the most disappointing seasons in the modern era. We all know TS has issues. They are belabored on here each week. And our (old) Admin is tone deaf. Maybe Verge will catch the vision and make TS always great again.

I thought it was a fun atmosphere but the piped in music was another level

There could have been zero people in that stadium and it would still have been impossible to call a play
