Take off the purple glasses; that dude caused that chain of events.

Judgmental much?

Not all were my fault. I have never taken a hard left into on coming traffic. My head on was when I was 23 and misjudged passing on Highland Road. The car I hit saw me and stopped in the road and didn't try to avoid me hitting him. He stayed put and didn't try to pull to side.

If you saw the bodycam footage you can clearly hear the man from the gold truck say he was not going fast, and did not have to slam on his breaks or anything. So, yes the person tailgating him not paying attention is at fault for sure!

I saw the video where witnesses were blaming the charger.

So he passed in a no pass zone and people died because of this.

I’ve never passed someone in a no pass zone. It’s not that difficult to not be a jerk off on the road.

Good lord what a stupid statement

The funyun bitch that swerved into oncoming traffic to "AVOID" a car passing 100 yards in front of her is the fricking troglodyte and killed that man.

you sound mad and ignorant

Why did hte gold truck in front of her move off to the right to avoid Lacey?

Because he thought things were about to get real, that's why...

watch the video released yesterday, and focus on the vehicle that actually gets hit, it's captured in the dang video...

when you see the vehicle crash and you hear it, the green vehicle Lacey was driving is right up on the scene about 1.5 seconds later...

Yah don't travel 100 yards that quickly so the attorney using black box data is manipulating the narrative with his end of scene video he showed

The 18 wheeler had the best view sitting up high above and was passed by Lacey right before it all went down

3 witnesses said "green charger"...immediately after the accident

so, they all believed he initated the reaction to avoid him

the lady may have been distracted, we don't know

the primary fault is lacey... PERIOD

Good people make mistakes he compounded his mistake leaving the accident while everyone else stopped...

I was talking about his passing technique. I have passed more than one car. Maybe not 4 but more than 1.

PEOPLE didn't die. That's plural and inaccurate. A PERSON died.

Louisiana law says you should never be in the oncoming lane within 100ft of an oncoming vehicle.

Kyren was in his lane 279ft (93yds) behind Mr. Halls's (the deceased) vehicle.

The accident happened 1.5 seconds after Kyren Lacy was in his lane.

Funyon girl was traveling a 46 mph until nearly the moment of impact.

46 mph for 1.5 seconds is 33 yards, we will round down to 30 since she did begin to brake a fraction of a second prior to impact.

Those numbers show that Kyren Lacy was aproximately 123 yds (369ft) from Funyon girl when Kyren was back in his lane. That means kyren was the length of an entire football field with end zones away from Funyon girl. Converting that to time, we get that it would take aproximately 2.8-3.0 seconds for Funyon girl and Kyren Lacy to collide if no braking happened and both vehicles were traveling between 40-46mph (the speed limit was 40).

Funyon girl caused this wreck due to distracted driving and poor decisions.

Yeah. This should be obvious to anyone.

If the vehicle in front of you has to stop/pull over for ANY reason that doesnt mean you have to run into them or swerve into oncoming traffic.... Unless you are following too close/fast and/or not paying attention.

A car stopping in front of you is not a free pass for you to drive into oncoming traffic.

No, you can NOT excuse wreckless driving

All the yardage stuff is making a case to protect Lacey

In real time, watching it 6-7 times, it's vivid the gold truck moved off to the right because he thought he was about to have a head on with Lacey

Lacey brakes very hard, nobody is really talking about that...

there is a reason some roads have a no pass line in them

Lacey did everything wrong

The woman hitting the oncoming traffic could also be another accident that could have been avoided

but we can't say, oh the whole thing could have been avoided when people are ahead or trying to avoid Lacey... I mean dang people

that's like saying running a red light didn't cause the accident it was the car that didn't see me coming, "they should have looked first before trusting the green light"

This isn’t what happened. There was a gold truck in front of her. There’s no way she saw Lacy. The gold truck said he didn’t slam on his brakes. I think he let off the gas because he saw Lacy but she wasn’t paying attention. You are required to pay attention while drive. Period. If you don’t have space to stop for the car in front of you, you’re too close. The driver of the red truck gave testimony that was refuted by video.

How fast was Lacy driving prior to hitting his breaks and immediately getting over?

I'm not sure I think Lacy should have caught the negligent homicide charge, but his driving definitely played a part in the chain of events.

fricking women drivers are a menace.

You need to learn how to drive defensively, or stay off public roads.

Her witness statement said that. Thats not the reality.

Either way, distracted driving causes 80% of all car accidents. Not speeding, not recklessness, or drunk driving, its distracted driving...

Her tailgaiting the gold truck is what did her in. By the time gold truck veered off to the right, she was stuck. Sounds like she veered off left to avoid the gold truck ahead of her.

Wrong. It was the Kia and the lady’s distracted driving.

Gold truck never braking proves that.
