I know nuss can't run like JD5 but why can't he scramble for a first every now and then? If Jared Lorenzen (rip) at 300+ could do it why can't he? At the end of the day there were several times he should have tucked it and ran and he didn't.

Bro! I watched that guy.
His parentage was a sumo wrestler and a ballerina with a golden arm thrown in!

That guy was magic. #22. A freak. There is no way her never blew his ACL! And there was no DB that wanted to see him scramble into the secondary.

And he died at 38. A complete rotund freak for a handful of years.

Rest in peace big fella.

Lack of want. Battleship Lorenzen had it.

His story is sad. Apparently he legit had some sort of food addiction that caused him to put on a ton of weight after his football career came to a close.

Lorenzen was something else. The guy could legit move and was hard to bring down. He also punted a few times for Kentucky.

I still remember him waking by the student section when he was a freshman in 2000 and everyone yelling at him about how fat he was.

You have to admit, at 300#, lorenzen was far less likely to get injured than JD is.

Nuss acted hurt after tripping over his own feet and wasn't even touched by the defensive. Dudes softer than Charmin.

Being a QB who decides to become a runner is more about mentality than ability.

Nuss has the ability to do it, he doesn't have the mentality to.

Nuss has something going on with his knee, ankle or calf. He has been limping all season. It would not shock me to se him have some sort of procedure in the offseason which will KILL any momentum and chemistry with receivers.

thanks for the topic. It is original. I'm sure no one on here but you thinks Nuss should run more, and now that you have mentioned it, others will jump on board.

Happy Thanksgiving!

You do realize a lot of serious, season ending injuries happen without even being touched, right?

I doubt that you do though.

Nuss has the ability to do it, he just hasn't show much of a willingness too. Hopefully he will add that in the offseason, as it will make a huge difference
