I thought he looked good. He honestly reminds me of Etling. Good decision maker. Will struggle with high velocity throws.

The thing that stood out to me most is he appears to have the best running instincts out of any QB we have had in a long time. That is the only thing that could make him a difference maker, particularly when it comes to red zone scoring.

The rest of the team is going to have to really step up if we are going to have a good season regardless of who the QB is.

All that said, if Burrow wants in you have to take him. We need depth, and if this is a catalyst to one of the young guys leaving, so be it. Neither one of them look like they belong on the top of anyone's depth chart at the moment (although they could both be stars if they could put it together).

How would we judge as we haven't had a QB since Mike Flynn!!!

He missed a lot of easy throws that would be drive killers. His accuracy is suspect. Each qb has had decent stats when with the first tram offense. But know one has stood out which is why we are looking at other options. Providing competition and depth at the most valuable position in the field is always a good thing.

.

in that game, the spring game, he looked like a very competent QB that looked as good as any QB and a QB that could lead the team to good things. He showed he could run, knew when to run, composure, accuracy, arm strength, leadership. Really everything you could ask for. But it was such a small sample and it was the spring game.

I would feel a lot better if we got Burrows but McMillon could beat him out.

we must've been watching different games.

Yes, he has some skills, but he's not an SEC QB. And the other two QBs didn't look any better. Just because McMillan is the best of the 3 doesn't mean he's good.

Can you honestly say that McMillan gives us a good chance against Bama, Auburn, UGA, etc?

I don't get that kind of thinking because how can anyone say McMillon looked "shitty" in the spring game?

People just can't stand the idea that he wasn't highly recruited.

Its true, ppl have a really weird aversion to mcmillan.

its true, if he would have been a 5 star recruit and performed the exact same way in the spring game people would be going off about how great he looked.

I don't really see that at all.

wow. That's a serious case of blind homerism, right there.

no, if he was a 5-star, I'd have called him a bust.

enough of this shite. He was 50% completion in a fricking controlled scrimmage. ONE fricking scrimmage. you idiots are beyond comprehensible

btw, that completion % is shite, in case you didnt know.

He missed wide open wideouts. He was 14/29 in a non-contact game. The kind of thinking you’re referring to is logic btw.

I'm confident that I'm not confident.

Burrow is another option that needs to be explored. This staff would be foolish not to.

I'm confident that some how this will fall through but excited to see how it all transpires.

The Rant will melt either way.

I thought he looked bad - not any better than the others. No one with sense counts the statistics. You should look at each play and grade the QB on what he does. I could not see the whole 22, but I felt Brennan was the best by a small margin. He looked bad, but the others looked a little worse.

Every single QB was 1 pass below 50% in a non-contact (for the QBs) scrimmage. No he didn't look "good". He looked more comfortable than the other two. That's it. Brennan has a significantly better arm, but looks rattled. Narcisse is very inaccurate, but was bailed out by JJ Jr. so his stats look way better than he played, especially since he's likely sacked, stripped, fumbled in the end zone on that play if they could've hit him.

He completed less than 50% of his passes in a scrimmage game in which the defense could not hit him.

That’s not “good” by any stretch.

Now, if he is better than the other 2, by all means, he should be the starter. But I do t see how that can inspire confidence going into the season.
