I see a lot of threads from the “so called” Die hard O homers getting upset over other posters being negative about O, Just to be clear I was all for giving that man another chance, even after that dog shite 5-5 season last year. The UCLA game felt like someone spit in my face after all off-season preaching coming from that loudmouth blowhard. Now I want nothing more than his arse gone and a real coach hired.

My question is when was your moment you had seen or heard enough out of big mouth bullshite Artist Ed and decided you wanted to change.

I also find it amusing how anybody could still be supporting this train wreak. Why?

I was skepticaLO until UCLA.

I liked what he sold but was starting to dislike what he produced. Hiring two virgin coordinators for the toughest conference in CFB put O on the hot seat for me.

“Sissy blue shirt” comment made me think we were going to destroy UCLA and I was all for it.

Then just few series into the game I wanted O fired before leaving CA.

You can be arrogant when your team is fully prepared and stomps the opponent. You cannot be arrogant when your team gets manhandled by a PAC12 team.

I am sure Scott Woodward will take that under advisement.

Like you, I was willing to write off 2020 and move on....until UCLA. It's not that we lost, it's the way we lost. We were told the problems were fixed...but there they all were again, in plain view. Don't sell us crap and tell us it's gold...

Demote his arse to D-line coach, surely that was the deal if he couldn't continue successfully.

I totally agree. I felt like the end of last season was exciting and we had a lot to look forward to. Then while all of the other teams in the country were preparing for big games (Alabama, Georgia), we once again (see last year) were completely unprepared for our opener. There are reports that O is running around chasing tail and the team was touring LA on gameday? This is unacceptable. We think we will win based on talent alone? Our new coordinators look clueless as well. We were out coached the 2nd year in a row? Yes. It is time for a change. We loved O but are disgusted and disappointed with the events of the last year and what we are seeing this year. We are trending in the wrong direction and I do not expect this to get better.

I'm pretty sure Woodward actually will note that public sentiment has dramatically shifted. When the fanbase is restless, things start happening.

I'm not quite done with him yet, after 10/2 I'll form a better opinion. I'll give the coordinators time to figure things out. We still are not sure on how good UCLA is, they play #19 ASU on 10/2 and then Oregon on 10/23.

Since he was hired. I knew the model of having to hire the best assistants and the best coordinators wouldn't wouldn't be sustainable. I was willing to wait and see and 19 gave me a glimmer of hope but I knew what the reality was.

Ever since Missouri, I knew there might be significant issues going forward.

This was my thought initially when I saw this thread, but on second thought allowing Miss St Qb setting an SEC record against the supposed “best defense he had here”, and as the season went on, that same QB was terrible and benched.

That defense was so inept and lost, it was obvious something was fundamentally wrong with coaching and development.

I blamed last year on other things, losing so many players, D-coordinator…. But UCLA showed me that it’s a complete disaster, at every level…

Thats kind of the problem though. Your expectations are starting to slowly fall to where beating a #19 team is meaningful. This was supposed to be a ten win, top 10 season.

I really really thought 2020 was a fluke of covid, quitters, and loses to NFL. Nope, was just a collapse of everything.

Was shocked that was the team we fielded. Still can’t believe it.

I was O-negative until RTWFU.

I gave him a pass for 2020 because it wasn't a normal year.

I'm setting a bar for this year. 9-3 and he can stay.

I believed in the man and what he was saying too because of 2019. That game had all kinds of memories of Wisconsin 2016 that was the final nail in Les’ coffin.

My confidence in O started declining rapidly with the pic of him with his girlfriend last year. It demonstrated a complete failure in judgment. The off-season hires caused greater concern. The teams performance this season makes it clear his wheels are off. I don’t celebrate it like some because I want our coaches and teams to succeed but it is obvious a change has to happen.
