Oooo you got me. I supported one of the winningest coaches in school history and winner of one of only 4 titles in the history of the school and you think that is an insult

Yeah, but you defended him all the way to the bottom.

After 2013, there really was no defending him. He was slowly running the program in the ground.

What is your end goal here? You scrutinize everything McMahon does and literally act like every move the prior coach made was perfect.

Honors graduate, which is something your parents unfortunately never got to experience with you. Since you seem to want to continue an argument like a woman, I’ll give you your attention you missed as a child. You and every other Will Wade fan can’t wait until something bad happens to the LSU team.

I’m a supporter of LSU, not of any coach. Coaches come and go, but my Alma Mater is always there. It’s just pitiful the way you Wade fans shite all over LSU. As I clearly stated, change your user name to something more Wade and McNeese friendly. That way you and the other cucks that come crying on this board when LSU actually performs well can have proper representation.

Just pointing out what we had, what we gave up and where we are now. Pretty frustrating for a basketball fanbase that has not seen consistent success since the early 90’s. We had it and then failed to fight and hold on to it. Now the goalpost in year 2, in the NIL era is the NIT.

It’s all the Woodward can do no wrong crowd trying to justify a poor decision that set the basketball program back.

I always believed in the man from the very beginning. He started out with 0 players when he arrived. He had very little time to build a roster. What the hell Give him a chance

Glad to see you earned an undergrad degree, congrats. While I have a professional degree, that’s not the only measure intelligence. Know a lot of highly intelligent people that have only HS diploma.

Despite your honors degree, you couldn’t make it through a post without name calling though, could you?

Will always support LSU and I too hold a degree from LSU. Doesn’t mean I have to be satisfied with poor decisions. It is undisputed at this point that Woodward made a decision that set this program back at least 2 years now. In year 5 under Wade, people weren’t happy with a 6 seed in the tournament, now we’re clamoring to be an NIT bubble team.

You can support your school and be pissed at bad decisions. Those aren’t mutually exclusive.

Woodward and the administration had no choice but to fire Wade. They gave him every chance to step forward and explain himself but instead he pulled a total bitch move and lawyered up. And by doing so he quit on his team.

And btw we have a hell of a lot more titles than 4.

a discussion based on facts

Here’s some facts:
1) McNeese is 15-2
2) Their 2 losses were to Western Carolina (15-3) & LA Tech (12-6). Neither is a bad loss
3) They beat Michigan (7-10)
4) They have beaten College of Biblical Studies (7-6), LeTourneau (10-6) & Mississippi University for Women (6-8).
5) Their best win is against UAB (11-6)

6) LSU is 11-6
7 Losses to Nichols (8-9), Dayton (14-2), Syracuse (12-5), Kansas St. (13-4), Texas (12-5) & Auburn (15-2). Bad loss to Nichols.
7) Beat Wake Forest (12-5)
8) Beat Mississippi Valley (0-17) & Alcorn St. (9-9)
9) Best win Ole Miss (15-2)

Common opponents Northwestern State & Lamar

McNeese 68 Northwestern 59
LSU 96 Northwestern 55

McNeese 88 Lamar 69
LSU 87 Lamar 66

What Wade is doing at McNeese is a great story, but it’s not like he’s beating or even playing top level teams.

He made LSU basketball fun again & for that we should all be thankful. He also signed a contract that he knew, or should have known, would get him fired.

He’s not coming back to LSU, so as a fanbase, we need to get behind the coach that we have & his team.

He is finding some success without the benefit of:

when he has full scholarships.

AND removes the weight of negative recruiting (last years results).

He is slowly building some momentum.

Let him pick up some more wins and recruiting suddenly becomes much easier.

I have now seen the light!! I will gladly eat my crow. McMahon is not the quick flash of success like a Wade or a Bears, but he will be good for the long run.

What you are is a guy who jumps to conclusions based on very little information. First, McMahon sucks because he lost a few games, and now “he will be good” because he won a few. Just root for LSU and wait and see.

Saying Wade sucked is as stupid as saying McMahon sucks. Both are stupid takes. Wade had his faults but was a good coach, great recruiter and great marketer of the program. McMahon May be lacking in that last category but he has shown to be a good coach and motivator and maybe a good recruiter based on next years commits. He is due a couple of years to get his players and system in place.
