I was a McMahon hater but…

I have now seen the light!! I will gladly eat my crow. McMahon is not the quick flash of success like a Wade or a Bears, but he will be good for the long run. Once he gets this thing rolling he will be a force. Huge win to prove A&M win wasn’t a fluke.

Remains to be seen how he recruits over a few years, especially when he has full scholarships.
However, he is a good X's and O's guy and he seems to squeeze a lot out of lesser talented guys.

I think Trent Johnson was a good Xs and Os coach. We saw what he did the one year he had talent.
His problem was that he was the worst recruiter I've ever seen in the history of all major sports at LSU.

He’s got a damn good class coming in next year and his two classes before have been good considering the circumstances. Now imagine how good it’ll be once he gets things rolling.

It was easy to doubt the direction the bb program was going in. But clearly, McMahon is doing a lot right to get the program turned around. Everyone should be excited.

This isn't even an exaggeration. He may be one of the worst recruiters in the the last 50 years of SEC athletics.

I don’t think people realize how terrible McNeese was before Wade. They haven’t made the tournament since 2002. The program was a joke.

Not me. Always glad to see LSU win. Doesn’t mean I can’t be frustrated with what we gave up.
