If you’re reading this, Dr Rousse, this fanbase wants you to fight. Do not accept any of these punishments in any way, especially if we never did anything wrong.

Let them vote us out. I’d love to see how the conference survives. The entire house of cards would fall.

Please please please fight this.

Don’t think Dr. Rousse is reading this…

And if you think the SEC couldn’t survive without LSU, you are an absolute moron!!!

I believe there are plenty of avenues to make Sankey and his cronies’ lives much worse. Plenty of legal options.

Whether or not our leadership wants to go that hard is to be seen.

This is like Dean Wormer against the Delta's.
Paul Finebaum is Neidermier.

We need to roll into that meeting in the Death Mobile and take no prisoners.

I think an SEC that kicks LSU out for whatever THIS IS would not survive. Not long term anyway. Maybe a little while, but expelling LSU for no real reason will create a massive liability for them. Everything about them will become unstable.

LSU becoming an independant and now being courted by other conferences creates a massive issue. It also threatens the other conferences, creates opportunities for offshoot conferences, and ultimately a chance to poach schools from the SEC.

Regardless, I don't want to settle for anything until Sankey is fired. And I do think that is the eventual resolution.

I don’t thing Rousse is just going to lay down and do what the SEC is wanting them to do either though. I think they fight this.

I have no issue moving away from putting these guys on the roster. Make a formal statement. But in no way should LSU pay a fine or be suspended.

I keep reading 15 schools would vote to kick LSU out. Just a reminder, Texas / Missouri / South Carolina all rostered players, LSU did not.

I hope we fight this. The SEC will want Kiffin suspended for the season and a big fine. Whatever LSU does, the administration cannot turn its back on the Coach. The SEC wants to make sure LSU does not make the playoffs at the expense of Alabama or Georgia.

I would genuinely rather see us leave the SEC than accept any suspension for Kiffin.

I believe this will ultimately be resolved with a chastened LSU that commits to follow the SEC rules better. Also, LSU will agree to pay any damages resulting from the jilted pro players suing the SEC.

I agree and I am glad to see that LSU is not being swayed by money, and is a home for four-year students who are loyal to LSU, and are academic strivers. Integrity must be preserved in ameteur athletics, and LSU is at the forefront.

Some of you need to take a deep breath and realize that LSU may be a large national brand, but it isn't even the biggest brand in the conference.
