I want Ed to finish out

I think he should lie in the bed he made. May not be a popular opinion, but no matter who takes this team over mid year, they won’t be any better. This recruiting class will probably be a wash any way p, if we don’t name a coach by Dec. 1st. And if he is aiming at Riley or Fickell they may still be playing for natty.

First prize is for LSU and Coach O to separate in a positive and mutually agreeable fashion. Scott and Ed announce together that Ed will finish the year and a new coach will be named after the season. I believe Ed wants to live in Louisiana and would love to be a LSU fan in the future.

If he wins one week, loses the next two, wins, then loses, etc this will go on until the end of the season. And so will all the speculation.

I like Coach O, and unlike most here, I respect what he has done. I hope like he hell we beat Florida. Yet, on the off chance that we do, I would have no problem with him being fired the next morning.
He had a good run, but its time for him to go. It can be two things.

I want what is best for the program.
I happen to think it is rarely good for a program to fire a coach in the middle of a season, unless you have another quality coach ready to hire immediately...which never happens, because any coach worth his salt has a job and is gonna stick with his current program.
