re: I thought SECN+ was available on ESPN+? Why can’t I get any of these recent games?

Bro. Are you mad because you paid for a service (one that you shouldn’t have paid for to begin with) that you didn’t research and find out what you get with that service? Lol

Dog, I’m not mad, I have never paid for or had access to ESPN+.

I think I made it pretty clear that I am commenting on the inconsistency of the naming conventions of various streaming services under the Disney umbrella, suggesting that I do indeed know the differences between them all.

Secn+ is actually on the ESPN app. You have to validate that you have a provider that carries the SEC network.

I have the SECn through my provider. I have the provider listed on my espn app. I also have espn+. I have never had an issue until this season. Last weekend I got the game on my phone but the TV kept saying I didn't have approval or something to that effect. I logged out, logged back in, verified everything - no go.

This thread has been hilarious to read, but I did encounter this same issue when pulling up the New Mexico game last fall and the first baseball game a few weeks ago on my main TV.

I believe the message says 'Unauthorized account'. Signing out, restarting the app, reentering my login info and provider, then verifying through my phone did the trick for me though.

Gotta link the ESPN App with your cable account.

They both have "+" in the name. I can understand how this would be extremely difficult to understand for a moron.

Open up your ESPN app. Once it opens select WATCH at the bottom of the screen. I highlighted the WATCH symbol below. select it.

Once it opens scroll down until you see all the ESPN channels. Scroll over and click the SEC+ icon. Open it opens select something that shows it is LIVE. If it plays you’re set. If not you will have to go to the settings and login with some sort of login credentials you use to login to whatever tv service you have. Hopefully this helps

I have a wireless Roku. I turn it on but don't launch any apps.

Then, I go to the ESPN app on my phone. If you have ESPN+ there should be a button in the upper right, which I click.

Then in the search bar, I type in 'LSU' to move it forward, and then I can open it.

Finally, I use the TV and arrow icon in the upper right to push it through to my Roku.

I've tried many other ways but they are all a hassle.

I am a 71-year-old Boomer and I have never had any trouble watching LSU Baseball on SEC+ or ESPN+, on my computers or on my smart tv's. It's not age that holds people back.

No. If you have a smart TV (like Roku) that has apps, then you download the ESPN app directly onto your TV and login to that just like you would log into the website. You can watch anything on your TV that you can stream on the ESPN website.

If you have the SEC network as part of your cable package, you can watch both SEC Network and SEC+ on your TV by streaming it through the ESPN app. If you also have ESPN plus, you can stream whatever they're offering as well. But LSU baseball games will not be on ESPN Plus if they're being aired on the SEC/SEC+ network.

What does you knowing about it have to do with consistency? SECN+ not being on ESPN+, or a separate streaming service altogether, is inconsistent. They are very different services with the same naming format. Disney+ is also different, as it has a wide range of offerings while ESPN+ is more limited.

It's not that complicated. You are just an idiot.

What is confusing is that there are two separate issues. The first is if your paid service includes SECn+. The second is how you can view it once you have paid for it.

There is only one way you can be authorized to watch on SECN+. Your TV or Streaming package must include the SEC network channel. SECN+ is automatically a part of the SEC channel.

Secondly, SECN+ is STREAMING only. It has to be watched on a device that connects to the internet. Those devices might be computer, smart phone, pad, etc. There are also services such as Roku, Amazon Fire Stick, gaming consoles that can be attached to your big screen tv. Once you are connected to the internet you can use either the ESPN App or the Watch function on the ESPN home page.
