Seems kinda sus.
The reason the 2011 Oregon game was so awesome had about 80 percent to do with us winning.

Went to game with my son. Great experience, except game of course. Milwaukee, beer, cheese curds , people, lambeau museum and, pictures with Lombardi statue..I swore on bus ride haft to Milwaukee not to watch another game until miles was fired!! Few weeks later it’s the auburn fiasco and he was finally fired.

So glad I didn’t pay the money to travel to that game.
It was a awesome trip and great day until the interception. The loss didn’t ruin the trip though.

1/9/12 was a fire-able offense on pure coaching alone.
Absolutely. I have rewatched games where we lost but I’ve only seen that game once. It’s the one game I can’t get past because we just beat them on the road, and now we were facing them pretty much at home. If it had been a close loss where we tried to win that would be different. But not losing the way it happened. And 21-0 makes it sound closer than it actually was.

I wanted him gone after the Tenn game in 2005.
Yeah it was all downhill from there. He would only go on to be the most accomplished coach in lsu history and one of the most winningest coaches in sec history. It's a travesty we had to endure that.

Greatest football road trip of my life up until the game started.
I still cherish the massive "GEAUX TIGERS" chant I started in the Wrigley Field bathroom on Friday afternoon.

Wisconsin was fired up for that game, they had a great defense and yes they knew what Miles would do but I think you are reading a little too much into it ??
The sad part is we actually came out trying to pass the ball but Harris was inaccurate on passes meant to get him in rhythm. Take a look at our first 5 drives.
it wasn't until we committed to the run that we got back into the game.

We had a great time and even losing the game that way we didn’t diminish our trip...flew into Chicago on Wednesday watched the Cubs game on Friday...rented a house in Sturgeon Bay right on Lake Michigan...ate at a restaurant with goats eating grass on the roof...it was a classic.

1/9/12 was a fire-able non offense.

That game at Lambeau had the most pissed off LSU fans i had ever seen in one place.

That was the trip of a lifetime. I looked forward to that game like a bride does her wedding day. I will never forgive Miles for screwing it up. You run Fournette and kick the dang fg. Letting Harris throw it there should have cost him his job on the spot. I don’t understand how miles steals 50 million from Louisiana and still has fans. I delighted in his firing yesterday it should have come YEARS earlier! He is the Nancy Pelosi of coaches!

You know you can do both and not commit to either, take what the defense gives.
One of Les Miles flaws was scripting the first few drives and either not deviating from the script or overriding the OC and calling the plays himself.
Miles is a piece of s!!! for the student harassment and my first thoughts after the Wisconsin game was he stubbornly called the game his way to show LSU he was the coach. And he was fired a few games after as he should have been.
Firing Miles will go down historically as a smart decision
Those who like him now after the student harassment are oblivious

Gotta love the Rant.
Plausible.
Then picks the two scenarios which completely counteracts his own point.

he should have been fired after that... or given a drug test... that was the most frustrating game at any level ive ever seen... Russel Sheperd was ready to unload on him. He was my neighbor... Ive never seen him upset, ever... but that kid said that was the straw that broke the camels back... he said he lost the team, that no one respected him, it was the LSU name that kept it going after that, just kids wanting to go to LSU. But he said Miles was punch line after that... they all hated him... no one ever believed me when i said the same thing... Shep doesnt have an ounce of hate in him, but you could see he wanted that man to burn for that game...

Wrigley Friday, Lambeau Saturday. Hell of a road trip but yes the game sucked.
the hours leading up to it were incredible though.

So after surviving off-field turmoil (albeit which he caused); he intentionally did bad at his job on the field?
