I’d like the team to look prepared. We can start there.

Why is beating Alabama a big deal?

If you can’t understand this, I can’t help you.

They’ve completely owned us over the last 15 years……Hell, they’ve owned us for almost the entire past 100 years.

If we don’t accomplish either of those 2 things, then I’m afraid many people in the fanbase will be disappointed.

Rightly so. 9-3 or 8-4 with a win at home against Bama is not too much to ask for. I mean, 8 wins would only be a 1-win improvement from last year.

Expectations change when you get every coach you want and the 40 million roster payroll to go with it. It's not the same as taking job like it used to be. This not like taking over an empty roster with no way to rebuild it like you can now with NIL a ND portal.

9-3 was expected. If he hits that he hit all reasonable fans expectations

I think 9-3 is only acceptable if the lose isn’t to Bama.

Otherwise it would mean our best win is a not very good Texas team at home.

I want LSU to apply pressure and have Sankey fired. I can live with the football results.

The reality is we probably split Texas and Alabama at home and probably lose in the road to Tennessee.

Because beating Ala is a rare occurrence.

I had them 8-4 before the season, so I would not be terribly disappointed, although losing the way they did last night makes it a lot tougher to stomach!

9-3 and he gets a B-, anything less and it has been a failure ONLY because of the amount of $ spent on the product.

So I take it that your opinion is that the 40 million will just keep rolling in year after year regardless of the product that is on the field. I don't see it happening that way,, but hey, I hope you are correct.

I admit I expected to be a playoff team even if it was 12th team in. If the playoff was 24 teams we would be still be 1 loss outside of the top 24 as if today.
