I think SEC can get 3 teams in CFP. Some don't. If not, I think LSU is likely left out.

Every response is leaving out the elephant in the room in their response. We lost to them. No one acknowledges it in the responses below. I want to preface this by saying I do think the SEC can get 3 teams in the playoffs. A lot of people are saying they don't think they can.
Georgia is in regardless from winning nati last year and their performance all season.
Comes down to Tennessee and LSU. The head to head loss and having 1 more overall loss, I think kills LSU. Winning the SEC championship and beating the team that beat Tennessee is massive. I just think there isn't anyway the committee can put in LSU when they have literally lost to Tennesse and have 1 more overall loss.
We're kind of fricked here unless the committee is willing to put in 3 SEC teams or somehow UGA and UT have an unexpected loss these last 2 weeks.

I don’t think they can leave a 2 loss SEC champion. Yeah we lost to Tennessee but we would have beat the team that beat them.

No shot. They don’t want to alienate the rest of the country, which is already sick to death of the SEC.

3 from one conference won't happen ever, because of the backlash that would be expected.
Assuming LSU takes care of business to Atlanta, UGA is basically playing for Tennessee's playoff life. I can see the committee putting in UGA even if they lose the SECCG because of the season and the perception of their team. I can't see them putting TWO teams that didn't win the conference over the one that did when it's a 1 loss difference.

Literally no one cares what you think

Guys, if winning the SEC title game by beating UGA doesn’t get us in, then expect the SEC to abolish the title game.

The rest of the country would probably rather watch an SEC football playoff rather than their own geographical conferences. SEC is like an NFL Light anyway Lol

If we beat Georgia we are in. If we don’t it’s gonna be Tennessee unless Michigan beats Ohio St.

You never in that response acknowledged that we literally lost to Tennessee.

You realize ignoring things, doesn't make them go away. I'm not a troll. Just objectively viewing things.

Simpleton respone.
If you're able to say that sentence, and then add despite us losing to the other team and having 1 more loss, then I'd believe you.
Say "Win the SEC, we're in. Despite us losing to the other competing team, UT, and having 1 more loss." Say that. As that's the case.

If we win out, the only way TN gets in is if they let 3 SEC teams in and those are extremely low odds. Conference champion will overwhelming trump the loss. In addition TN beat the chrysalis; not the butterfly that became the SEC west champ.
However, right or wrong, I believe GA will be the first SEC team in. They would have to take 2 SEC teams for us to get in even as champs.

That sentence leaves out the other part of this. You can say that, but add in the other objective part.
If we beat Georgia, we are in. Despite losing to the other competing team to get in and having 1 more loss.
That is the correct fully encompassing way to address this, and non-biased.

LSU would have same number of wins, division title, conference title, and better wins.
Tennessee’s best two wins will be Bama and LSU.
LSU will have UGA, Bama, and Ole Miss.
Neither team has a great OOC win.
In the end, I think LSU has the better resume.

I don’t even give a shite. This season has already been a success with a lot of development and positive vibes. If we get there, great. If not, great. We’ve already shut a lot of naysayers tf up this year

The committed has shown they are placing value on what is happening now. Who you are beating is paramount to where you are placed. If LSU wins out by beating Georgia, the committee will have LSU in the final four.

Don't care if you believe me or not

LSU is in if they win the SECCG

It’s so dumb that this post is getting downvoted too oblivion. Barring a loss by GA or TN these last two weeks— OP is correct. We have a loss to Florida state and got boat raced in our own building by TN. Beating Georgia won’t put us ahead.
A TCU and USC loss + LSU wins vs UAB, Aggie, and GA will give you a 1) tOSU 2) GA 3) TN 4) LSU playoff.
That’s the only way they get in. Lots of delusion on this board.
