I think Nuss is going to be really good but he can't do it by himself

I don't care how much hype the Oline had, they're fricking trash. Especially the interior. Will Campbell has regressed.

This is the worst running game at LSU this millennium. Think about Nuss's awful redzone interception, we and they knew that our offense couldn't punch it in. We have to have the ability to run the ball.

I think Nuss is struggling but he's also forcing and he's trying to win the game on every drive and frankly we don't have a snowballs chance in hell to win unless it's on his arm.

He was awful the past two weeks and for most of the ole miss game but people forget how awful Jayden was vs Tennessee and Arkansas was his first year or Burrow was vs Bama his first start vs them in Death Valley.

Nuss can be a legit championship QB but he can't do it alone.

He isn’t a championship caliber quarterback. He has always been turnover prone. There is a reason why CBK went out and got Jayden Daniels when he came to LSU.

How'd CBK do with that championship level QB?

Maybe if Nuss didn't have more attempts then the team had rushing yards then we'd have a better idea of what the kid can do

He can throw interceptions. That is what the kid can do.

Literally no one is arguing that the run game isn’t a huge problem.

But Nuss has been making the same bad decisions since he was a freshman.

That’s not due to lack of a running game.

Yes he was. The picks just so happened to get dropped or negated by penalties.

Championship quarterbacks don’t turn the ball over an average of a turnover a quarter for 2 games. He is NOT a championship quarterback. I don’t know why so many on this board can’t get that through their heads.
Yeah. The scheme is bad. But that doesn’t make you throw picks. I don’t care that he “feels like he needs to make plays” - screw that.

The offense was offset by an all time worst defense.

The truth is probably somewhere in the middle. Nussmeier needs more help from the running game but he still needs to take better care of the ball. If his issue was just completion percentage, I would agree that it’s just a matter of asking him to do too much. Turnovers are another story.

In this game we were fairly balanced up until the second turnover - roughly 55% pass at that point. The turnovers were part of the reason we became so one-dimensional, because we went down 28-6 after the goal line INT.

Kelly's defense. He hired the coordinator and had two transfer portals and fielded the worst defense in lsu history. One of the worst in the history of collegiate football

Nuss is weak mentally. If he turns the ball over he chokes. Everyone hates Carson Beck…they’re the same people

no offense but you're retarded if you believe this. The Ole Miss game proves how incorrect you are

It’s funny that you get all these downvotes. And everyone says Kelly sucks. He’s trash. He’ll never win here. And most of those same guys talk shite about sage and burns and Williams etc. they want 22 freshman starting. This roster isn’t lsu value at all right now. Maybe about half of this roster would be on an lsu team that we’d consider loaded. And that’s being generous.

All Nuss needs is a running game and a couple better than avg Wide Receivers.
Neither Burrow nor Daniels would have won a Heisman with these WRs and our OL.
