I think last night was good for the team

I’m glad LSU struggled last night at times. Brought us back to Earth after Clemson and provided some good film to study and improve on without actually losing a game.
Maybe a bit of rat poison anecdote.
We do need to figure out the passing game going forward. That dog won’t hunt.

If Sam continues to struggle in passing game, it would not surprise me to see Landen Clark come in and spell for a series.

Last night was a weird game because if you look at his stats and ignored the ints you would think he played well. 25/38 for 344 is pretty good. He just had 4-5 throws mixed in that were outrageously bad. Like me trying to complete a pass bad.

Well the cockiness and complacency will be gone.
OL play and Leavitt's decision making/consistency are still a concern though.

Yea really weird game. Our oline is a bigger concern than Sam. Our WRs struggled to get any separation again which didn’t help.
Then the fumble by Wilson was very flukish. The first Int was all on Sam, the red zone one looked like they mugged Winnie before picking it. The last one was a really forced bad throw.
Sam missing so bad on deep balls is a concern.
Hopefully that bullshite we saw from our oline last night was mainly the 3-3-5 and not just them sucking

I don’t know if I’d call it good, but it was definitely a wake up call. They aren’t going to beat the shite out everyone by just showing up.

I agree. Gives them a lot to work on this week preparing for Ole Miss. get rid of the TO’s and it’s a route from the beginning. But that defense. If starters stay in they end up with 30yds of offense and no TD. Our defense will be the difference next week can’t have 4 TO against OM.

I think they did not gameplan for the 3-3-5 and just assumed we would win. No need wasting time on that since it was the only one this year.

Threw in to zone coverage. Wasn’t used to that after Clemson. I’m glad we stuck with the game plan.
