I'm definitely not on the inbred level anymore, but I continue to be impressed with how pathetic Alabama people are. I don't think their team winning comforts them anymore. Angry idiots.
You should have seen the rant scoreboard last night.

I'm certainly aware of our retards. I'm embarrassed by them. Bama fans are generally not embarrassed by theirs. Makes me a little sad tbh.

I have friends who are Bama grads and they are much the same as I am about the games....it's over when it's over and they have other real important things to think about.

It's the non grads generally who are the real idiots about this.

Last night I thought it might go into OT at one point in the 3rd quarter and I just thought "please let one of them pull away".

What part of that quote did I misinterpret? I understand growing up and not living and dying by this silly crap anymore. I wouldn't be pissed off this morning if not for the uncalled hit. I just can't fathom deciding in the 3Q of last night's game that a loss would be preferable to OT.

I’m 50 and pissed this morning. I’ll be over it by noon.
20 yrs ago, it would’ve ruined my week.

When LSU went full blown woke in 2020, I stepped away for a while. Kept up with the team (and TD game threads), but didn't watch.

Started watching again last season with the new regime and after Tate seemed to not be the SJW I feared.

But, I will say my "excitement" for LSU football (which Miles killed in 2012 and which Burrow resurrected) did not return to what it was, and it has been on the wane again and this year's defense has all but killed it.

For all of my issues with Miles, he maintained the tough defensive mentality started under Saban. O did to a degree. Kelly/House has all but abandoned it.

Others have mentioned it, but the observation that this team is "soft" seems accurate.

There are plenty of other games on. No point in watching shite football just because it's LSU.

Oh yeah there are a lot of folks stunted in here for sure. It's a forum Odysseus. You got shite to get of your chest about a team (good or bad) a forum is the place to do it. I kinda feel you on your post. I'm getting that way with the Saints a little. Like if they don't care so much as an organization about success and what they need to do while getting paid globs of money to do it, maybe I shouldn't be so invested. I watch of course but it's mostly just to watch and come here to see what everyone says about what we saw.

Just wait until you have three kids and trying to watch the game while one of them has shite his pants, the other is screaming crying because you gave a red popsicle instead of blue one and the other is nagging you wanting you to come look at a dead bug (which is most likely a piece of a leaf).

It’s ok to get upset over a loss and happy with a win. It’s not ok for a loss to ruin your week. I’ve been a fan since the 70’s and have seen a lot of good and a lot of bad…I still love game days.

When we are on offense this team makes me extremely happy…on defense am extremely frustrated. I will still be excited for the next 3 games. Also looking forward to how CBK handles the staff defensively when the season is over.

Which is why I don’t see the point in calling the LSU players “kids” anymore. They’re paid to be there to play. Highest bidder. They’re here fo da money not for LSU and surely not for the fans who buy tickets.
They be here for them pretty white girls and them gwap contracts with local injury attorneys and such. Don’t hate, appreciate.

I envisioned myself hitting Nick Saban with a baseball bat and visualized him slumping over dead like in a Terentino movie. 2 minutes later I was laughing at how stupid I am. It's okay man. When these losses happen just start thinking about what you're gonna cook for Sunday lunch. Just don't let the winning and losing become a large part of your identity.

This was my 20th LSU vs Bama game attended in a row and the 20th time a retard Gump threatened to kill me despite me not knowing who they are or ever speaking to them.
Weird. When I was there in 2019, we all remarked on how overly friendly they seemed.

The post reads like you're trying to convince yourself. Would you say that you don't care if LSU won last night? Are you going to care again the next time LSU beats the brakes off some poor team?

You sound like LSU games give you anxiety if you are hoping for it to be over.

2019 happened, and I was on cloud 9 the entire year

We all were. But realistically there will never be a season like that again. A lot of LSU fans use that season as a measuring stick for success without realizing how improbable that entire season was.
