How about for slander, willful misrepresentation, and about a dozen other things that hurt our brand and cost us money (though I actually think this helps both in the end)?!

Other schools have never been fined for fan chants, such as Alabama chanting “frick Auburn, and LSU, and Tennessee too” but LSU gets one for Neck. The hypocrisy is on full display.

I've never understood some people's absolute love fest and loyalty to the SEC. Especially when playing other conferences. People literally go out there fighting ghosts defending the SEC's honor against randoms on the internet.
I could give a rats arse about ANYONE else in the SEC ever even winning a single game. It bothers in the least when people trash talk the SEC comparing it to the other conferences.
I only care about LSU. I love when the other conferences beat down other SEC teams.

I like playing games against the other SEC schools. I am a football fan. I like watching football games. I like watching LSU play in Tiger Stadium against teams like Ole Miss, Alabama, Auburn, and Florida.

I'm not 100% sure there ever was a fine. There's been rumblings lately that it was just a narrative put forward by LSU to get the crowd to stop saying it. Like it or not ( I like it ). There's a metric shite ton of people that are put off by the mental image of another team having to suck mike off.

But when they're playing other conferences. I could care less if any of them lose. It doesn't bother me that the SEC hasn't been winning football natties. It bothers me that LSU hasn't been winning football natties.
