Nobody wanted this job except O. Why is that? We have a recruiting hot bed, first class facilities and fans who will adore you for life if you win. What happened to change all of this? Clearly we overestimated ourselves here.

I was told by the Rant that coaches and players line up to get in here. HHMMM, I guess we know where we stand in college football.

How about we fired a coach who won a natty, 2 SEC titles, numerous ten win seasons recruits like Saban, Urban, etc and won 114 games. Who wants to get fired after compiling that accomplishment. Miles problem was he was stubborn, he should have fired Cam and hired a HUNH coach like Applewhite to go with Aranda. That was a great hire, keeping O might be hand and hand with keeping Aranda. Our defense was awesome, our offense was the problem with Miles. Now we have O? Well O better bring the O
We are all waiting

We have an administration who doesn't think the program is as great as we do.

Kind of like our own Obama team.

The LSU Administration has put a big fat turd smear all over the job.

Mishandling Les Miles last year/Bringing him back and firing him in the first quarter of the season

The whole Chief situation/Les Miles Clause that crippled assistant hiring or gave a dead man walking vibe

Miles overall winning record not being enough(people dont want to look into the product just simple bullets and Miles won a lot of games)

SEC competition and having to face Bama/Florida every year vs staying in the ACC or hoping to land in the Big 12. LSU expectation is that you can win those games and compete for titles. In Texas you play a 1 game calendar schedule.

Also let us not run down Texas or FSU. Texas has just as many resources as Bama and a easier path to success. FSU is already built and churning for Jimbo. These are 2 really good programs and also either a Top 5 or Top 10 job.

Herman probably already has the Texas job done in place. Jimbo was just a bit more comfortable staying where he has already put in so much work.

I would not call these strike outs as much as simple misfires. Herman if you wanted him should have been hired a year ago. Jimbo I never felt good about prying away from FSU because of the success he has already had there.

I wouldn't get to seven.

Bama
Ohio State
Texas
Michigan

I would even put LSU ahead of Michigan and Ohio State

You have got to get off of here with that type of rational thinking.

I think we'll see a new OC for next time season. Doubt it will be Lane Kiffin. Would like Coach O to stay a few years, then hand the reins over to Aranda. I think he will be the one who really moves our program forward in a big way!

With our administration, we are so far from it.

It's about timing more than anything else. There just wasn't a great crop of coaches available.

With salaries being so high now, coaches at mid tier power 5 schools just don't need to leave.

It is. JA just targeted two coaches. One who had a good deal at FSU and the other who he didn't want to get in a bidding war w Texas for. He never looked at any other option.

keyboard warriors continue to know best. Bunch of car salesman, cashiers and fantasy footballers got it all figured out. If only y'all had sprained your wrist junior year...

Boo hoo. You morons will be whining and detracting from now on. No matter the success that may come. No matter if Orgeron brings in Lane Kiffin and keeps this truly great staff intact. No matter if Orgeron gets Dylan Moses to flip or lands Cam Akers. No matter what you haven't got the cute college boy who kisses his players and loses to 3 lower tier schools in a season or paid Jimbo WAY MORE THAN HE IS WORTH so you will complain and whine and detract.

Hey, that is what losers do nowdays apparently. Look at the anti-Trump bs. I suppose y'all can go out and make signs that say "Not My Coach" and play in the traffic. The best thing is to stop bitching and support the program.

Oh by the way, the PLAYERS were for this. But who are they? Right?
