Disagree.. Its all or nothing for O. Put up or shut up. Great D and explosive offense.. We will pass more than run.

Agree with the OP. Look no further than Notre Dame to get an idea of O’s tolerance for risk.

O will air it out vs opponents that can’t stop us and will be bland against those that can. That’s exactly what we’ve seen from him thus far at LSU.

the ND game was won, had a D players not tried to be a hero when he went for the ball and missed the tackle completely

Not sure how that negates the point to which you were responding.

Every team worth a shite has a goto play for that situation. Be it 4th and goal from the 1 or needing a 2 point conversion. It was the last game of the year, no reason to hold back now. For all of his "pedal to the metal" talk, the head coach folded like a cheap tent with the game on the line.

Only 3 things happen when you throw the ball and 2 of them are bad.

Woody Hayes would be so happy you remembered what he said 55 years ago.

However, offenses have evolved since then.

This team has great receivers and a soon to be recognized by all great passer. To not use them would be criminal.

He folded vs Florida and Auburn too - just got lucky. I don't care what offense he runs as long as he understands that a one possession score difference is not time to sit on the rock. Not sure he's learned that lesson.

Isn’t 2013 after 2008?

Yes.

Even in 2013 the middle of the field was under utilized in the passing game. And with OBJ and JL at WR, not many passes were going to the FB or TE. Hill was the only other player with double-digit receptions that year with 18.

ive read this board for 15 years. There has never been a time where our fans didn't complain about the offense.

Statistically, field goal was the safe play to win. From a "next year" momentum and backing up talk with action-- TD was call to make.

Game ended on a crazy fluke play, almost identical to Saints.

I disagree because of the ease in which ND drove the field on the previous drive, but that's ok too. Hopefully it will be another experience that will help the team in the long run.

Do you ever have a post in which you're not insulting or deriding someone?

yeah, that's why Les is still showing us the way, it's just from back in the dust. By the way, I saw Miles didn't make the cut for the job opening for Utah Southern Baptist community college. But he's still out in front , showing the Mormons the way

I've decided to pattern my posts after you and your kin folk. You/Mo/justice never have anything positive to say about anything so I'm returning the favor.

I think we are all LSU sports deprived right now and, of course, football in particular.

Never? I find this hard to believe.
