Despite all the PR from the Athletic Department the offense will be conservative. O wants to keep his job and LSU will have one of the best Ds in the country. The only option is to roll conservative on offense and let your D win the game. Les showed us the way

Come on now! That isn't necessary. Only 3 things happen when you throw the ball and 2 of them are bad.

I'm serious. The offense will be more conservative than people are expecting. That also means that the LSU running game will be better than people are expecting. The best chance for LSU to get 10 wins is by winning on D and field position.

It's a pussified mentality, and I detest it! The offense needs to be aggressive and creative. It is OFFENSE, so it needs to be OFFENSIVE. Look at Clemson. Look at Oklahoma. Chickenshit elmer fudd miles was looking to run, run, run, punt. Them days had best be over!

Lol, no. They (Alleva, Ed, Ensminger) want to keep their jobs, not lose them. Doing this would seal their fate.

Nope. No Guice, no Fournette, no Hill. A conservative offense without a big star back, will only bring an average at best run game.

No, wrong again. The last time LSU won 10 games (2013), the offense threw for the 2nd most passing yards since 2001 (losing to 2006 by 9 yards).

In 2016 with the #5 scoring defense in the country and 21st ranked rush offense in the country, we lost 4 games. In 2017 with the #14 scoring defense and #28 rushing offense, we lost 4 games.

No you're not.
You're just stirring the fecal matter to get a rise and start the same bickering and mindless horsecrap on the Rant.

Les showed us the way to mediocrity in his few seasons.

Haven’t you heard? Our offense will take attributes of the saints, patriots, USC, Florida with Tebow, Alabama and the glory days of Boise st. TRant told me so. This will happen with new faces at all the skill positions, an unsure OL and an OC who hasn’t coordinated an offense since before a lot of posters were born!

Yaw yaw!!

I’d take that mediocrity any day over what O is bringing us.

I can tell you are under 30.

LSU has been nothing but mediocre other than 2003-2012.

Unless you want to go back to 1959.

IMHO The offense will try to be more open and exciting.
If our players perform, it will continue to grow in that direction in hopes of being a 50/50 or close to it offense.

A very heavy passing offense is somewhat risky to the D in that if it does not get a few first downs...the D is forced back onto the field and possibly wearing them out.
