I noticed several times he was talking to players and trying to keep them positive. He’s gonna be a good leader

Give him some confidence this weekend by beating up on Southern and your never know... Defense didn't look half bad

Yeah he showed great leadership and poise, especially at the end of the game.

Also, am I the only one who noticed his smile? Man’s charming

Daniels played well enough. Missed some reads and is too quick to tuck and run, but he at least gave us a chance to win and didn’t turn the ball over.

You never laugh when something bad happens to you? I feel like that's pretty standard. Dude has been through it.

He wasn’t too quick to run. The first half was horribly schemed with routes that took too long to develop.

I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised and I like him more now than I did before the game. Not that I thought he was gonna be crap but more that I really didn't know what to expect.

Was hoping for Brennan, then for Nuss, but came out of this game excited for Daniels despite what people say on here. Love him trying to get Boutte's mind right. Love the fact that on our last drive he immediately went right to Nabors twice despite the muffed punt. Dude had poise in the biggest moment and he delivered. His game 1 leadership impressed me as much as his athleticism did.

hard to blame him for tucking and running early when you have 3 guys in the backfield in 1 1/2 seconds..

Especially when they only rushed 3.

Saw the same, which included a longer convo with Boutte at one point trying to keep him in the game.

Right. As bad as the team played, they made it a game at the end. Take this weekend to work out the kinks and you never know. This team can possibly rip off 4 in a row within the next month
