Glad that you do. I don't. DC will be top of the order again. Maximizes his plate appearances and his OBP sets the table for Tanks and the other meat in the middle.

Missing some guys and including folks that won't even be on the team next year.

Your “batting order” only has 6/9 spots filled out. Scratch Cade- he ain’t coming back. And LMK who “somebody” is - Lazy arse

Idk about Crews leading off again. But it's possible. It's hard to guess who will be drafted and who has been offered what (was Tommy Tanks offered a position in the field or will he DH? If he is DH it opens another infield spot for Carter Young, etc.)

1. Jack Pineda SS
2. Josh Pearson RF
3. Dylan Crews CF
4. Tommy Tanks DH
5. Tre Morgan 1B
6. Gavin Dugas LF
7. Jordan Thompson 3B
8. Carter Young 2B
9. Milazzo? C

Could Skenes come in? If so that would shift the order more and he'd play Catcher a lot.

I just don't see him hitting lower than 2nd. 1-2 in the order typically get 20+ more ABs on the season than that of 3-9 spots.

Probably gone in the draft but don't know that he'd take the DH spot anyway if he stayed. He wasn't very good for most of the season, but had a few games where he smashed. I think they'd be looking for a more consistent bat.

I actually had Kling in the lineup the first time I wrote it but I decided to go with the stronger infield than outfield and put in all of the bats that I think will be starting at the beginning of the season. If Dugas is back, I think he'll start the season in LF and Pearson will start in right. Every time you make the lineup with people in different spots you have to leave someone out though. That's an awesome problem to have.

Penada- SS (hopefully)
Crews- CF
Pearson- RF
White- DH
Morgan- 1B
Dugas- 2B
Thompson- 3B
Kling- LF
Milazzo- C

If White was promised a chance to play a position then I think he moves to 1B and Morgan moves to RF, Pearson moves to LF.

You started a thread listing 2 players as “somebody”. One player that won’t be here and spelled another players name wrong. Woof.

Guess these lineup prediction posts make for good conversation, but right now it is way to early to come close to predicting. Also, even when the spring comes around it will be hard to predict. I don't expect to see the same lineup each game. Maybe some of the same players but Jay showed last year he will even move around the top 3-5 in the order.
