I came South with him and I'll head back to Buckeye land now that he's gone.
I urge you to be gentle with Coach O next year as you will be getting a new DC for sure and maybe a new OC.
You should be safe in all your games but these and I'll note how many underclassmen they are losing compared to you.

Thanks for giving Joey football a chance and good luck to you next year.

Auburn loses a lot of senior starters. This was supposed to be their year. They had everything but a qb. I don’t know if they will be better as a team next year because they lose so much defensive talent.

There will never be another Burrow at LSU. Not only is he the GOAT due to the numbers but in 1 year, he destroyed LSU’s reputation of an archaic offense and place where QB’s go to disappear. Every successful offense we have from here on out will be due to the foundation that Burrow, O and this team laid. That’s what made this team so awesome for LSU fans because Burrow, O and this team destroyed the demons of 1-9-12 and our reputation of an archaic offense. The Les Miles era is finally dead and it’s time for a new era of LSU football to thrive.

And it still won’t be enough. Depending on the coordinator, this talent this next team will have on defense, could make it better. The Dline will be better imo and the secondary could be just as good. While we will miss Fulton, The younger guys got a lot of PT and did very good. Flott, Ward, Jones and Ward will do fine and Mo Hampton played a big role when the defense peaked. I think Brooks will slide in perfectly to replace Delpit as a pass rusher. I know it may sound like P&G glasses but the 2020 LSU defense could be faster than this years. It all depends on the DC we hire and how they use this talent.

Which means that we will only solidify that LSU is here to stay when we kick their asses. Joe did more than put up great numbers, win a Heisman and a National Championship. He changed the culture and mindset of these players for years to come. We'll have our speed bumps. But we are here to stay. Thanks for the post.
