I just rewatched all the hype videos, and we gotta get them back.

Will Stout is going to Los Angeles LINK, something he’s always dreamed of. But we have to have somebody keeping close tabs just in case it doesn’t work out.

This guy is worth whatever USC could come close to paying him.

We oughta get him back. These are works of art.

They weren't performing literal, actual magic. I'll bet there are more than a few guys on campus who could replicate what they did.

He’s beyond talented, which means he doesn’t belong in BR long term. Good luck to him and thanks for the contributions to this magical season.

Damn GiantKiller, sounds like you are afraid that if he moves to southern cal y'all wouldn't be able to survive/maintain a healthy long distance relationship or something. Hes a video guy, calm the frick down, lol. There are plenty of other fish in the sea buddy.

frick that shite. They were recording and making fricking videos aboutnwhat we care about...football, and winning Natty's in it. I could give a shite less who videos it or who makes the highlight videos we watch. frick that. There isn't one player that will choose to come to LSU or not based on who makes the postgame videos. Let them go, we will find someone who is capable to do that job. I would care more about a really good team chef that the players liked going to another school bc I promise u the players care more about the cook than they do the media/video guy.

JaMarr Chase isn’t transferring, so calm down.
Everyone is replaceable and LSU will get someone else.

It’s 90% raw video that made them great - having so much to choose from - all angles - locations - etc- never seen so much background b roll - that is what made them great - the after effects work was then very good.

They’ll find good replacements...only students have 70 hours to spend on two minute videos..the draft video would have cost 10k or more to have produced.

Like I said - students have the time and access and will keep it rolling.

What is so hard about understanding that LA is light years ahead of BR for someone with real talent in the film industry?

It’s not about what USC is paying him. It’s the doors that are opened just by doing this kind of work in LA.

You reckon the hype videos would be as cool if we were 7-5?

Heard not coming back. And they won’t be that hard to replace if the resources are pointed in that direction.

There are already people on LSU’s campus who can do just as good a job if given the chance.

One thing I learned working In television is that there is a DEEP talent pool in that business. There’s always someone ready to replace you at the drop of a hat.

LSU’s video production room has state of the art equipment and raw video for days. Trust me, they can find a video editor.

Gotta give credit where credit due....Ponamsky is the guy who generally came up with the idea of where they wanted to go with the videos and Worsham was then tasked with doing the writing to match the scene they were looking for and finally the video was matched up with the storyline by Stout . Derek also did most of the legwork in lining up the narrators for the video. We've still got 2/3 of the the formula still intact. Our hype videos will still be top notch and envied around the country. JMO

Link to how the videos come together.

I’ll never understand why people get so...well... “hyped”...about those videos. They do absolutely nothing for me.

Dude. Pretty sure his career aspirations are a little higher than making college hype videos.

USC is the pinnacle of film schools. If last seasons awesomeness helped Will achieve his dream, then I’m happy for him and thankful for his service.

Only a few really stood out to me. Very much appreciate the effort. But most were just good and easily duplicated.
