TJ will be a good qb, he was a true freshman thrown in there last year and did pretty well when he had time. I wish he went to a different division as opposed to one of our biggest rivals.

What if you're occasionally able to drop it in a cup from 50 yards? Would more practice and better fundamentals help that become a more consistent thing or is that impossible too?

I'm sure, just like at LSU, TJ lights it up in practice.
His problem was panicking when there was a strong pass rush and he would throw in to coverage. This is very typical of a young QB and it's something that should improve with experience.
Last year reminded me of Josh Booty vs Rohan Davey. In practice, it was supposedly not even close how much better Booty was than Davey, but it flipped in a game.
