Insanely jealous of the atmosphere they have there vs. the morgue that is the PMAC over the last decade plus.

Certainly not the reason we lost but that definitely makes a difference in CBB. We don’t have much of a home court advantage.

We will never have that bc our other sports are also top notch and honestly i feel like we don’t have enough ppl who care about basketball majority of Louisiana cares about football over any other sport.

We've had great atmosphere at LSU Basketball games before.

I know wade is more concerned about revamping the practice facility, but I was hoping reconfiguring and renovating the pmac to make for a better atmosphere would have trumped the practice facility. Oh well, I want what William wants.

Bullshite

Put the students court side. Give them incentives to show up and show out.

Put the old fricks up top

Back in the Daddy Dale era the PMAC was hopping, the program decline + baseball ascendency killed the culture but it can come back again, but it will need time and yes probably a new or heavily renovated facility.

He’s right though. You can change the seating as much as you want, but it won’t make a difference. The students just sit there on their hands. Moving them court side isn’t going to suddenly make them be loud. They have zero basketball IQ.

Little of both, the set up really doesn’t help at all. Students need to be the life blood of the place. Where we have them placed just doesn’t allow for it.

If they'd get off their damn phones and actually take a vested interest in the game, perhaps things would be different. And that's not just the student section. Why even show up if you're spending more time and interest dicking around on your phone than watching the game? It's sad.

Rectangular arenas are so much better than oval arenas.

Not true. When I was in school (Shaq Pack) we had awesome atmospheres. The Stromile years also.

How many SEC champions have been hosted in all those great loud arenas?

LSU has eight in the PMAC. Any place but RUPP have more?

Agree. Everybody looks on top of the floor in rectangular arenas. The PMAC can feel cavernous even tho the seats at the top really aren’t bad when you’re in them.

If students need incentives to show up, they aren't much fans. And they shouldn't care where they sit. THey should show up and fill up all the student seats. Until they do that consistently, screw them.

I firmly believe WW can get us back to the days of the PMAC of old. Then, Woodward will take care of the rest.

Sometimes, we tiger fans want too much, too soon.
