I know Will wasn’t a Scott hire but Scott knows he has a really good coach there. Give him time. In Scott Will and O we trust

Put the students court side.
Give them incentives to show up and show out.
Put the old fricks up top

The 10 students sitting in premium sideline seating would look great on tv

So true. People today act as if communication via phone is like old school.

I tried calling a relative that one of our own had died, she sent me to voice mail.

Auburn, Duke, etc seem to still make money ....

Plus you’re really making money from TV contracts anyway...

True, but I’m just thinking you don’t want to alienate the people that are spending the most on tickets.

How many basketball season tickets does LSU sell? What percentage of those would be affected?
I wonder how many feasibility studies have been done regarding renovation vs new arena construction. How many luxury suites would be created in either and could LSU sell them?

This is going to piss a lot of you off, but until LSU guts the operations staff of the PMAC, including Kent Lowe and Dan Bourne and bring in PROFESSIONALS from outside the LSU Good Ol’ Boy network, the product is going to remain the same. I’ve seen the same faces there since the place opened. The problem is not the venue, it’s the packaging.

I’ve been there from the day the Assembly Center opened - The 70’s and 80’s had Tigers dropping from ceilings, an energized student section, contests, giveaways, Sid Crocker, - every game was a huge, elaborate, electric production.

Students were the lifeblood - there’s none of that now.

Get the students there, let them energize the place, and the rest will follow. The current production is tired, which is sad because the actual game product is quite good

BS.

Auburn is in the football obsessed State of Alabama. Who cares more about football than the Gumps and Barners?

AU has their new arena set up with the student section surrounding the court for 10 or so rows up from the very bottom. That's the reason for the atmosphere. They're right down there close to the action and the rest of the crowd feeds off them.

It could and should be like that in the PMAC...…...

Their arena is about ten years old and only seats 9,000 or so.

There is no money or interest by the State of LA, LSU, or TAF for a new or renovated basketball arena at this point. The most immediate need is expansion and updating the basketball practice facility. Wade needs all basketball operations, training, practice, etc. in one building. This will allow us to compete evenly with SEC and other college programs. This project needs funding and Woodward is aware of the need.

Moving the students to the side line isn't going to happen with the current PMAC. The 100s and much of the 200s are taken by season ticket holders.

The students need to step it up in their current location.

PMAC does need to greatly improve their in game promotion and announcers to excite the crowd. Do some research on what other programs are doing.

Can he stop the big companies from getting most of the court side seats? Open them up to real fans not the country club crowd?

I care more about basketball than baseball, but your average Tiger fan feels this way:

1) Football
2) Baseball
3) Basketball

Lack of winning will do that. LSU Basketball hasn’t won an SEC Tournament title since 1981, hasn’t been to an SECT championship game since 1993, hasn’t been to a Final Four since 2006 and only won two NCAAT games in the 2010s.

Auburn had an arena that was just as dead as the pmac at one time. They built the new one and it’s been top notch.

BS. We used to camp out for tickets to the big games. It was rowdy as hell in the PMAC in the 80's.
