Somehow, I just stumbled onto this video while watching highlights of the Tenn game last year.

Check out this throw at 1:25. Freaking beast. Also check out the throw at 1:05 too. Falling down and still flicks it off his wrist for 20 yards.

Anyone who says this guy wasn't the most talented LSU QB ever is full of shite.

no one has ever doubted JR's talent. but people have, and deservedly so, doubted his work ethic and mental game

nothing wrong with it in college. I mean I get that he was just "a freak athlete" and "wasn't a blue collar guy" and didn't "bring his lunch pale to work" and "wasn't a student of the game" but he was pretty fricking good in college in all aspects.

He didn't want to put in the effort, and if he had a good work ethic imagine how good he could have been at LSU

based on what? Flynn and Mauck BOTH made more mental mistakes than Russell but I'm sure you'll say they were heady guys.

.
His work ethic had shite to do with his career at LSU. You didn't practice with him or even know for that fact how hard he worked at LSU.

Mental game? You mean like how Flynn lost us the fricking Arky game in 2007 and almost gave away the 07 bama game?

You mean how flynn threw more INTs in 07 than JR did in any other year?

Hmmmm....

oh he was great in college all around, but he had the talent to overcome pretty much any deficiency at the college level. and the talent he had around him was much better than almost any team he played. he didn't really have to think a whole lot, nor did he have to put in much effort to be great.

If miles would have played his star qb....(2011) who sat on the bench the whole year....the mad hatter shite catches up at some point and it did in the last and most important game......he did the same in 2006 instead of playing flynn he played russell we might of had back to back champs .....Mett as good as russell...... russell's not even close!!!!!
