I broke down all the staff members at the SEC office one day and it came out to over 60% of the employees are Alabama graduates.

How much would it take to get you to move to Birmingham?

If they moved the office to Nashville or Atlanta they might get better staff.

So, you see NO problem with the SEC office being 'staffed' with OVER 60% gump grads ?
To AVOID looking the least bit BIAS...would you not think the SEC 'leadership' would not make a concerted effort to RECRUIT from OUTSIDE the SEC 'foot print' ???
Having the guy formerly listed as the chief schedule maker and the CURRENT chief of refs...BOTH bama grads...see how a certain BIAS is most evident ????

corrupt referees

If they're not corrupt, then they're the most incompetent officials in all of college football.

Either way, there's a problem.

I don't deny that refs make mistakes - sometimes horrible mistakes. I'm just saying there's no conspiracy.

There's a massive difference between being incompetent and being corrupt.

nearly any business will have an overwhelming number of employees from the city or region where they're located. Nothing odd about that. And it seems to be logical that most people living in Birmingham, Alabama went to school in Alabama.

The same applies to Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, etc.

I live in Atlanta, and although there are plenty of UGA grads here, Atlanta pulls from outside of Georgia, so if the SEC office were here, we'd probably see more geographic diversity. But there'd still probably be a majority of UGA folks.

Stop this nonsensical bitching about the SEC office. Football games are won on the field.

I would very much like to see this breakdown. I do not believe you.

If I made as many mistakes as SEC officials make, over and over, I wouldn't have a job.

Go back and watch the Bama/Tennessee game from a few weeks ago. If that wasn't a concerted effort by the officials to favor Bama, then that particular crew has no business officiating a pee wee league game, much less one at the college level.

I love how, in so many of those examples of Bama not being penalized, the official is looking right at the play in question.

agree

when the Bama player pushes the QBs helmet down and stands over him - Ref is 5 feet away

It is really something special when Bama needs to win the game like on Saturday

Im on it with LSU Dad - we watching !!!!

I agree it happens both sides but seems Bama gets extra love often

This would be a good take if:

1)Alabama had never been caught cheating.

2) Refs had never been caught taking bribes.

You are one of those dumb people that believe rich and powerful people don't bribe goverment/law enforcement to get away with things most people would not get away with. Everything that involves significant money (like college sports for instance) has conspiracies to cheat going on.

If you think otherwise you are dumb as a brick. Or else you are involved.

Bama is known for having free reign to take out opposing QBs, and they certainly do not shy away from it.
Any evidence at all to back this up?
