If memory serves me correctly, the ejection occurred because when the Auburn pitcher balked (a move even the Auburn color analyst saw), someone in the LSU dugout screamed BALK!! Again, if I’m remembering right, it was clear, loud and clearly caught the attention of the home plate umpire. It literally went downhill from there.

The horrible thing is all these rules to speed the game up and the umpire completely falls for that tactic to affect Floyd’s dominant performance. The very person charged with keeping the order of the game allowed it to turn into a shite show. Floyd has to learn how to deal with these type of situations though and fight through these distractions.

The ejection was after the balk was called on Floyd which was after the obvious miss on the Auburn balk. You can imagine what the dugout said following the blatant miss and then getting one on Floyd.
And what hasn’t been mentioned yet in the thread was when we finally got out of the inning on a strikeout the idiot umpire allowed Auburn’s hitter to show him up arguing balls and strikes, which is supposed to be an automatic ejection.

I think he got ejected after they called a balk on us after they missed their easy balk.

You're right and I wondered why the ump tolerated the player arguing balls and strikes.
