This is the best coach we have had. It is a pleasure to watch this team.

I hate jumping to conclusions only two games into a 30+ game season, but dammit it's hard to not be excited. The dude is extremely knowledgeable and passionate and it's very refreshing.

After two games you've decided that CWW is better than Dale Brown?

I have been around that long also and it sure looks like we have a real winner in Wade. hopefully he can keep it up and LSU aptly rewards him.

Can't say I have watched as long as you, but from what I have seen he is definitely the best we have had.

For once in some time, I am actually much more interested in the basketball team than the football team. Now if football could just get a legit coach...oh but that buyout

I just hope that uneducated fans don't turn on him when he loses some games this year. Give him time to build the program and remember that LSU Basketball only won 2 SEC games last year. If the team goes .500 in SEC this year, especially after being picked to finish dead last, it would be a huge accomplishment.

He hasn't won an SEC game, a SEC title, been to the sweet 16, or recruited a Chris or Shack type, but hes the best already after two wins over shite teams.

Let me guess. O was the best coach available too.

Pump the brakes!

He said coach not motivator. Dale Brown was a shitty x/o guy. If you were around when Brown pissed away some of the talent he had you'd understand.

There will always be a handful of idiots, but I think Wade will get less criticism than previous coaches just as a result of the way his teams lose. We will lose same games due to inferior talent and experience, but we won't be going on 30 point skids due to turnovers, penalties, and jacking up shitty 3-pointers.

We were 2-14 last year. People should just keep that in mind and realize the turnaround that may be coming. The roster turnover and revamping has been unreal.

That will absolutely happen

Get ready for the "I though this guy was supposed to be great" threads. It's alright though, I have a feeling he'll prove his worth over time.

TJ took us from dumpster fire to SEC champions in his first year.....

Look, I love the Wade hire. But this post and thread is ridiculous

Dale Brown had some great qualities, but he was a piss poor bench coach. Too early to tell if Wade is better, but he could easily be better than Dale in putting LSU in the best position during game conditions without too much difficulty.

Dale Brown was a great motivator but not an X and O coach. Hopefully CWW will be a real coach in a close game.

It's two games -- one against a SWAC opponent (which is generally the worst conf. in D-1 basketball) and another against a mid-major that a fellow SEC team just beat by 40. Also, this team under "the best coach we've ever had" just allowed 58 points in half! To a mid-major. Last year's LSU team only did that twice...against Florida and Wake Forest. And per Wade himself last year's team was one of the worst defensive power conf. teams in the last 10+ years

LSU opened last season with 22 and 17 point wins, respectively. As usual on here, people overreacted. I think Wade is going to be an excellent coach. However, I'm not willing to name the court after him simply as a result of two early season wins

He looks good, but way too early to say...so far I like we I see too.

The Dale Brown years were exciting...though he could have been better at Xs and Os... one helluva motivator.
