I have the solution for the PMAC no longer being a morgue.

It’s simple, baws.
Alcohol.
LSU fans are terrible when we haven’t tailgated or pregamed at least two hours prior. LSU basketball needs a culture of tailgating prior to games.
I know the pmac has that halfas lounge to grab a drink, but maybe we can have a nice bar setup outside the PMAC? Something has to give here. I get anxiety just thinking about Da Da Goat Wade leaving us because our fans are so apathetic.
Eta; and yes, I’m expecting the fundamentalists on the board to cry, but it’s the truth.

A lot of basketball games are on weekdays. Most people who have work the next day aren’t going to get shite faced at a basketball game.

The atmosphere damage that Trent Johnson and Johnny did to this place for 9 fricking years is taking Wade forever to fix.

But we all know how fickle LSU fans are when it comes to basketball
Tennessee last year at 11am was lit af but them being ranked 1 was why the crowd brought it. Just need to keep winning.

We’ve tailgated for a bunch of games over the years. It’s always a fun time. Treat it just like a football game. Get some beer in ya and make the opponents wish they weren’t playin here.

The fans who attend home gymnastics meets are lit and loud. It leaves my ears ringing for an hour after I get home.
And I've never seen any tailgating going on prior to those events.
Why the difference in crowd noise? I have no idea but plying the basketball crowd with more alcohol isn't the solution.

Baw, the geriatric crowd that paid the light bill since the dale brown days are a big part.
Next season I’d take as many of the ol blue hairs and swap their 100 level baseline tix for 200 behind home/away benches.
They can sit down and watch the game without those damn young whipper snappers standing in front of them... and the younger crowd can stand behind the baseline without a boomer poking them to sit down.
Baw you know I’ve been to 5 home games this year... TAF tries like hell to football money guys in the stands to get some younger blood. Joe and Rebecca Carvilhido (sp?) do a great job of trying to expand fund raising and lsu basketball in general.

LSU could win 3 national championships in a row in basketball and it still wouldn't be a basketball school. It's just not in the cards.
