I have gotten word from a source that Ed O is fine with leaving and stepping away.

Believe what you want. But this source has come through for me and has been 3/3 on that statements he has told me.
You might think O is willing to fight for his dream job. And try to turn it around….
But, I was told earlier this morning Ed knows he’s failed. And he knows it’s to far gone to save.
Here is a quote directly from the source.
“After Auburn Last year he knew it was the beginning of the end. Florida win last season sparked the team and O himself. But the issues were still same later on.”
Apparently O knows and is just enjoying the ride.
At this point the only reason he’s still here Is because of the kids, and because of the interim situation.
That’s all I got.

If Ed were to announce he was resigning at the end of the season sans any additional claims to unearned monies my mind would be completely changed regarding him.

I was hoping this might be his perspective rather than burn it down for all his money.

Makes you even more upset about the nice little multi million raise he got before the bottom fell out

We’re fine with him leaving and stepping away too :)

If your “source “ knew this he would not not share it with you

i believe his divorce led to this downfall. he was such a “family” guy and selling that to recruits.
I think this is when he lost his fire.
Thanks for 2019

One thing is clear. He doesn’t know how to make it better. So it’s over either way.

I don’t believe he’s smart enough to have that much self realization

if true, then this is the beginning of the negotiated settlement to release him for less than his buyout
agree to step away for a reduced payout, keep any dirty laundry on him private and LSU starts the process of finding his replacement

Only way he “voluntarily” steps down is Bc they have enough to fire him for Cause and showed him.

I wouldn’t say that, he’s still trying to win games. But he knows the team simply is not where it needs to be. And that falls on him.

He’s going to to announce he’s quitting and enrolling himself in rehab for alcoholism and sex addiction

Oh, OK. So he’s going to resign and leave the money?
