I had lunch Friday with a friend who is a Baylor alum and large company executive. He said he didn’t think Baylor would buy out Aranda and let him go after this season. Based on his conversations with fellow donors, he thinks he gets 1 more year.

I recently read somewhere (can’t find it), that LSU recently bought out the rest of Aramark’s contract and signed with another vendor. Did anyone else hear that?

Anyone have insights into the process of a HC knowing in season he needs a new coordinator and/or other coaches? Do they start putting out feelers with agents now? Do they have a list ready of targets? How has Kelly typically made changes? Do the coaches know it’s coming and have a head start on finding another job?

I’ve got a coworker going to NOLA with his family (2 teen kids). Any recs on where to eat. They are staying a few blocks from the Quarter near the Warehouse District in and AirBnB.

Missouri didn’t have potential sanctions hanging over them. That makes getting players you want harder. A few players that can execute what you’re trying to do can make all the difference, if if they are from Cleveland St. Next season will be telling. It’s players and coaching this year. We’ll see what CMM does to improve.

Reminds me of CEH in 2019. Started off a little slow and then as the season progressed, he blew up into a big time playmaker. Josh seems to have a similar hunger and fire and is growing game by game.
