Then quit. Leave, resign, or transfer. But don’t hang around and pout or put forth shitty effort cause you’re feelings are hurt.
I think that’s the plan for a large number of players this off season.

quote:. You mean the same culture that a lot of fans on this site have that just bcuz the players may not think like them they want to crucify them? Cheer for them like hell on Saturdays but god forbid the kids that don’t come from the same background or have the same experiences as you asks for you to actually give a damn about them and what they could be feeling or going through off the field. Then it becomes “ privileged kids” that don’t know what they’re talking about or the famous “shut up I don’t care I watch football to escape politics and the real world”. It’s funny that real world that some of you claim you come to escape some of those players never can escape once they’re off the field. But I’d guess you don’t care bcuz you want football and no “ politics” until you decide you want to inject your politics into it.
We now live in a culture of think like me or I will destroy you.

I missed the part whereas any of us sick of Ryan Clark’s race baiting “interjected” our politics into this ?
Help me understand. Odd this didn’t arise last year?

That’s literally what the country was founded on. The colonists “quit” because they got mad about paying taxes to the king who fricking paid for them to be here.
Oh and they rioted and destroyed private property owned by a corporation.
You know what else was going on at that time that makes what you are saying ironic ?

Bro, just take a deep breath. It's going to be OK. You're not even coherent.

The balance between who likes and dislikes this post is amazing.

You’re confused. You have a right to speak.
You do not have a right to be heard. That is earned.
“Right to be heard” is 100% in my large corporations handbook. And I challenge you to find a good manager who believes that they do not have an obligation to hear out their report’s concerns.

Equality of opportunity used to be the goal. The goal posts have moved over the last 20 years, now its ensuring equality of outcome. Any Hispanic kid who wants to go to LSU and has the minimum requirements should be able to attend -- equal opportunity. Let in Hispanic kids with less than minimum grades based on the lack of equal outcomes. We can't achieve the equal outcomes unless we manipulate the opportunity thresholds. Forget the consequential impacts of dislodging a finite # of kids who have met/exceeded the minimum thresholds for admittance --
Most black americans do not / would not support many of the social injustice cures if they only understood that what works today for their cause as the part of the solution (making sure equality of outcome is achieved) will work against their cause down the road. What's to stop other minorities from utilizing the same process?
Society could use more critical thinking by everyone.
What is stopping a white athlete from suing under many of the same doctrines of equity being utilized today so that they can play in the SEC? What about a transgender athlete? How many supporters of the today's let's get our cause accomplished no matter what will be bitching about equalization of outcomes down the road.

How can you trust someone when they’re not honest and lie about their stance on an issue? I rather someone be upfront and honest than to lie just to appease me. There is no common ground anymore, it’s “if we disagree, you’re against me bullshite”.
Answer me a hypothetical question, if you’re in the military and don’t agree with you’re fellow soldiers, are you gonna quit on them when you’re in the battlefield when you depend on them as much as they depend on you for life survival? That’s how this should be approached, we’re here to win championships and help everyone prosper.
I personally see players that look like they are playing hard but some may seem like they aren’t but I think it’s because they are lost and not sure exactly what they should be doing. More of a disbelief in the scheme ( defensively anyway ), than it’s about all the political shite.

Then frick them.
Just like I defend the players for doing what they want because they don't owe anyone shite, I'm not gonna shite on O.
This country is about being able to express what you believe in.

I agree. But there is no equity right now. No one wants special treatment. Affirmative Action is about equity not special treatment. It means can't pass over because of color.
If people were capable of being equitable and providing equality jim crow wouldn't even have existed, or separate but equal or brown vs the board of education.
That was only 60 or 70 years ago. Your parents lifetime or yours. And you think after the court cases passed everyone just changed and was no longer racist? The only way to move forward is being honest about our past. Dealing with it and not acting like it never existed or doesn't affect the present. Then we can listen and fix so everyone feels valued for who they are and not color.

So you are telling Black people they don't really understand the issues they face? And let me guess umm You have answers for a whole race of people? You will explain to them what they really need because they are all too stupid to know what they Really want. SMH.... If that doesn't prove why we are here now and people are upset there is really nothing else to say.

Ah yes, when equality didn't bring about the revolution, change the language.
Commies need division, useful idiots do their work for them.

Black people are their own worst enemy. All it takes is a little bit of accountability and more than half the issues they are crying about would go away.

We know that. Everyone knows people of color don't work hard enough. That's why they were forced to work. Otherwise, they would have just sat around doing nothing all day. Just like now. They need a pair of those bootstraps! Then they would know what hard work really is!
