I feel comfortable with Clark at QB

LSU would not lose this game even with Walker Howard back there at QB, so I’m not concerned. Clark is a great QB (maybe a better passer even than Leavitt) and could easily win this game. Hell, Longstreet could win a game against Ole Miss…
But I can’t imagine Lane is trolling. There’s obviously some injury. LSU is already in hot water with the SEC (which I dgaf) and the fine is up to $100k for misleading an injury report. Especially with a key player like, a starting QB.
Stanky Sankey would be PISSED, and therefore I would love it.
TLDR, hopefully Leavitt plays. Even if it’s Clark we still win this matchup against the Mississippi FCS team by multiple scores

You’re comfortable with a backup Qb from a small college who’s barely had any playing time going in to Oxford this weekend when it’s the biggest game in Ole Miss history who has a Heisman Qb?

Apparently the shoulder which is why he was held out of practice today.
I don’t think Lane has the stones to F with the SEC this much.
Not to say that Leavitt couldn’t progress to questionable and then probable by Saturday

What about the possibility of Green being out, to say nothing of being without four starting linebackers? If all of the guys on that report are out, then we lose.

I wouldn't be, but sounds like Chambliss a little. I think he made his first start against Arkansas, but who was he prior?
I think Leavitt will play and be fine though. Hopefully he balls out.

It’s probably a Nussmeier Van Buren situation. At this point, Leavitt is just an injured Nussmeier who can run. But I’m sure as bad as he looked last weekend, Clark is probably worse.

Statuses change. Doubtful status today is defensible if he couldn’t practice. If he practices later in the week he’ll be upgraded. That’s not some scandal.

I think Clark would do an amazing job. He’s looked poised with his throws and is extremely mobile. If Sam can’t play I’m feel great with him going.
