For these LSU kids in the portal, I wish them well, but don’t let the door hit you in the arse. The grass isn’t always greener elsewhere, and a lot of times it doesn’t work out for kids in the portal.

The only two transfers from last year that have without a doubt helped themselves are Alex Adams (Akron) and Trey Palmer (Nebraska).

Dude came to LSU, has been a fan his whole life, played some really good football and made a lot of plays.

Now he's thinking about his future and he's not a real tiger?

You want him to basically give up a dream of the NFL to keep his "real tiger" moniker?

Exactly, but most of the time the kid finds himself right where he was at LSU…on the bench or unhappy.

He has a qb scared to throw him the ball and a lot of talent in front of him. Plus I hear he’s not into alignment

I know I’m very down on some players, especially JD, but on the flip side I’m almost giddy thinking about Nuss slinging it around the field to Nabers, BTJ, Hilton, and the crown jewel a fully healthy Boutte.

It’s just I think we were robbed of a whole year of what we saw in the second half of the SECCG (with more running game of course).

Yep, that's a stupid take. May as well say every player that opts for the draft early isn't a true tiger because they didn't stay till their eligibility ran out.

McGlothern played great as well but he played great here too.

Landon Jackson might be another. He played a ton for Ark this year.

how many times have we been duped by watch a player have a really good half?

Anthony Jennings?
Brandon Harris?
Jarrett Lee?

All came in and lit it up in limited roles, only to not live up to that expectation

Temper your Nuss lovefest, it could be fools gold.

You honestly think BK, in his first year trying to make a statement, went with the worst QB on the roster? Like....really?

Not really. Not that fast and fumbles. But good-luck to him.

Or it could be the real deal. Hopefully Kelly let's Nuss play the majority of the bowl to get a better idea of where he actually is in terms of his development. You have to give something to the kid for showing out the way he did against UGA because that was a far cry from the ultra-conservative nickel and dime play that Daniels started the night with. Nuss was responsible for 20 points as opposed to 10. If Nuss ends up being a dud, he ends up a dud.

You mean so Nuss can show the fans his development?

Because BK sees him everyday in practice and scrimmages.

Jd5 can't feed 1 wr much less 3 or 4. He can get more targets as Caleb's wr5 than jd5 wr3.

There is not more to the story. He can go to most schools and be a WR1 in the B12, B10, Pac12, ACC, and could have a trey palmer type season.

Idk was Ricks stuck at 4th on the depth chart at his respective position?

Hmm...nuance.
