Some of you need to understand that there is going to be hurdles and bumps along the way. This isn’t a specific response to the game last night, because that was a lot on coaching, execution, talent, environment etc. I’m talking about people starting to doubt BK, and the direction this program is heading.

We were physically abused by Kentucky just 3 years ago, yes Kentucky. Murdered by Alabama and struggling to beat the Auburns of the world.

Now we have top 5 recruiting classes incoming, and have been in the national spotlight for 3 straight years. We could have easily been what Florida is now, or even Auburn. But we are not. We may not quite have the talent yet, but it’s coming. We are working with what we got and have done a fine job doing it. Everyone settle down and enjoy the ride. Season isn’t over yet, and BK isn’t going anywhere.

Did I say LSU was gonna beat Bama? No. Is it possible? Certainly, and wouldn’t be surprised at all.

If you don’t see that LSU is on an upward trajectory than you are being to emotional based off one game in which got away from us.

There’s absolutely no excuse for this team to take a step backwards next year, not with this upcoming recruiting class. If Kelly can’t at least get them to a 10 win season and possible CFP spot, then it’s a bust.

Don’t bring intelligence and a level head to this board…. You will be downvoted into oblivion, but you’re correct.

I’m sorry so we should just ignore the facts? The fact is when Kelly took over LSU was a Kentucky/Miss state caliber team.

Now LSU is competing with the big boys where they belong. It doesn’t just happen over night. LSU has already had success under BK and will continue to do so imo in the long run.

We are on an upward trajectory from the lowest days of Orgeron sure. But we are not on an upward trajectory from 9-3 to title contenders.

People have been saying this exact same bullshite for the past 2 years. “Just wait until next year!”

Well when is it ever going to be fricking “our year”? Kelly said to judge him by year 3, and based on the what the results have been, he’s not living up to expectations.

People are starting to lose patience and rightly so.

"Yeah, he's only 3 years in. He needs 2 more years to upgrade the talent."

It's a wonder how some of you folks can put one foot in front of the other.

Data shows we are and it all starts with recruiting. Who normally is your title contenders that we have seen Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Texas, and Oregon? Look at how they have recruited. It works. LSU is starting to stack top 5 classes here shortly. There will be results.

This is the kind of guy that has way too high of expectations. BK does need time. Yes I know he has had 3 years, and I know it sucks we don’t have a NC. But the situation we were in prior made it pretty much impossible for that to happen. It’s getting better. You children that get emotional off of one game need to find a new hobby.

Next year is BKs make or break year.

But losses like Saturday are inexcusable.

I didn’t expect a NC in year three, but I did expect competent special teams play, a decent running game, and not having to do a complete hard reset on the defense.

He’s never winning a natty here. We have decades of BK history in big games and it’s not changing.

It took Kirby 6 years to win a natty and he had a full roster at the start of his tenure.

Just 3 more years to flatten the curve in the NIL free agent era.

Special teams have been solid aside from this game.

Running game this year and year two under house are head scratchers. House had the halftime adjustments in year one and we won 10 games because of the defense more than the offense.

Two games. One being his third opening loss in a row. People who are turning on Kelly are looking at his body of work from year 1 to year 3. Yes he overachieved year 1, but he preached about was “by year 3”… Well, here we are.
His chart of wins over time should be jogging upward. As of now it’s projected to be a flat line.
