Rankings don't matter in baseball quite like football. I think LSU will be the #4 seed or so.

I agree with you, but LSU is respected and probably gets favorable treatment as does the SEC. The committee does have these things in their mind that the conference is extremely tough.

Last I saw it was 9. I guess beating SC yesterday helped instead of hurt our RPI. My bet is the team that was 7 th or 8th had a loss or a "bad" win, like us.

Those things balance out in a long season. LSU is also one of only a handful of SEC teams to play both #1 Texas and #2 Arkansas this season.

And top 8 national seeds generally aren't won or lost in conference tournaments. They are typically locked in after the regular season. We are as close as a lock as we can be at this point
