Just let it die

We just had the best season in history

We have exorcised the demons from 2011 by beating Alabama and winning the Championship in the same building on the same god damn field that abomination happened.

2019 is what 2011 should have been. And we have that now. Now let’s pick up where we left off.

Les was just offering congratulations to the program and being very thoughtful and kind toward the current staff and team. No reason for Will to take a shot like that. I'm not saying he was wrong in what he said ... just wrong to say it publicly like that completely unprovoked.

time and place for all things - this was wrong.

I always like Miles as a man - and still do

I am not a strategy guru but even I got tired of his predictable offense. If I, sitting in front of a TV, can predict the next play, I am sure a competent DC can dial up an effective scheme to stop it.

How many of us were shite on by people on this board for trying to say how bad he was for this program.

I was not sure if Coach O could ever get us here. He needs to be congratulated for what he has done.

However, I knew without a doubt he was and is better than Miles could ever be.

Just evaluate the play on the field, it told you everything.

Les Miles was stubborn, ignorant and he's liar. The way he talked gibberish to LSU fans was insulting. Les can go frick himself. I wish him nothing but misery as a coach.

Not Will Blackwell

He didn't do much in that game either.

No one could with that terrible offense, running straight into 8 or 9 in the box. Pure stupidity, and when we threw it, the passes went horizontal towards the sideline

Remember, we needed T Mathieu to return a punt for a TD or we have ZERO points against Georgia in the first half and only 2-3 first downs. Horrible. Dallas Cowboys OL would not have had success either

I don't remember Blackwell having a stellar game. Les is still coaching. Blackwell is....?

Will is just being honest. Ask Booger his thoughts on Les. Other former Tiger players feel the same as Will. I will say that Jacob Hester was pissed when Miles got canned. Wonder if he still feels that way. Not a good thing for a head coach when his ex players dislike him. Maybe that's why Les is at football powerhouse Kansas now.

Comes across as a bitter old man. He needs to figure out how to move on. They got spanked, get over it and enjoy the ride as an Alum

Blackwell has been a bitch about Miles for a very long time. You just like it because you have an irrational hatred for the man.

Or how many of us were criticized for wanting to go ahead and pull the trigger on Miles. I wanted to get rid of him the next day. I knew what I saw in that game, Saban made him quit. He was done. We never came back from that loss.

And before you get too mad at me, Pistons did the same thing. They got rid of a coach that took them to conference finals and hired Larry Brown. Following season he took them to NBA finals. They won the finals and made it back the following year although they lost.

We were a John Chavis botched end of half away from being back in the title game in '12 though. Les needed to go eventually, but it wasn't then.

Yea that sucks in college - 170 plus is good

Which is what Jarrett Lee was leading the SEC with when he was benched.

Pretty sure it was zero first downs in the first half. If we got one or two it was right before halftime

The SEC championship game was TERRIBLY coached, just as bad as 1/9/2012. People dont remember or realize it because we were bailed out by our Special Teams and Defense up until the point Georgia quit.

Those of us who came on this board to express concern after the 2011 SECCG were shouted down as negatigers.

this board knew nothing about actual performance and how to grade a team. they were willfully lazy or ignorant. they only looked at results and swept rest under the rug. well the rug finally got pulled out from under them.
