Live on the Ga SC line and have quite a few Clemson friends including my Pastor: They are pinning their hopes on being able to match scores with us and that their defensive guru can stop Burrow: Not! LSU 45 Clemson 24

This is probably the sweetest, most sincere & authentic post I've seen all year.

Older football fans are the shite.

Well, damn.

Can’t fault that.......it’s going to be, without a doubt, the two baddest asses on the block.

Have fun and be safe

I'll allow it.

Only been to Charleton once, but came away thinking it reminded me a lot of New Orleans. Both very cool places. Definitely want to hit Charleston again (as it was in December, rainy and in the 40's the whole time).

Good luck to you guys, but I think LSU is unstoppable in its drive and determination this year. Burrow will carry the whole team on his back if he has to.

Dang son, we’ve got to know each other for sure, Larry de la Bretonne was one of my closest friends, work colleagues and a mentor to me in my professional career until his untimely passing. Think about him often. Larry and Coach O do have a similar physique

I’ve good memories of trips to Clemson and interactions with colleagues there. I’ll make a stab, your initials J.W.?

Is Clemsoning still a thing? Dabo keeps mentioning 29-0 like he’s hanging his hat on last season.

I am a "guest in their house". I am not going to act like a jackass.

I prefer to act like a Clemson gentleman.

We'll show up and play hard. I'm nervous about our interior D Line and Safeties on defense and O line on offense.

Honest assessment. Note that Burrow don't need two steps on a Safety before he throws; he throws anyway because he knows that the defenders will necessarily have their eyes on the receiver in order just to stay with them. The receivers exploit the 'blind spot' in that scenario; they go up and catch the ball...having be trained to catch the ball with hands in their face. Kinda like the innovation of the 'back door' throw.

This will be the challenge for future defenses; to figure out how the defensive players can eye the ball and play it, instead of playing with the handicap of being blind to the ball's arrival.

It'll be a good game. Glad it's ya'll Southern Boys and not Ohio. Spicy gumbo on this Board, but fun. Hearty welcome.

Jack, welcome to the TigerRant board, we’ve attended more than few meetings/conferences together and shared more than a few beers over the years. Been some time since we’ve last seen each other. My Initials - R.R. Other guys you know with an LSU association who work in our profession aren’t members of TigerDroppings.

Tried to find something to hate, couldn’t. Have fun in New Orleans with the kids. I was at the 2003 championship game and the atmosphere before and after was unreal. You will have a great time, win or lose.

My Initials - R.R.

Robert!

Thank you!

You were also tons of help to me, but Larry was the consummate Extension mentor for me. I remember my first trip to Baton Rouge and stopping with him in a little country store and my first introduction to boudin.

The first time I saw Coach O I thought of Larry!

Well, after we beat y'all in the 1959 Sugar Bowl we claimed the name as the spoils of war.

Actually I kinda like deaf valley better more descriptive of the actual stadium!
