Much respect here.

I came in peace to your forum and they are about 50/50 nice or a-hole so I’ll respond in kind. Welcome. You have a great team. We feel like we will bet you based on what we have seen. We will know for sure on Jan 13. Good luck. GEAUX TIGAHS

You were also tons of help to me, but Larry was the consummate Extension mentor for me. I remember my first trip to Baton Rouge and stopping with him in a little country store and my first introduction to boudin.

Jack, the boudin stops with Larry while taking out-of-state colleagues on tours of the crawfish industry are legendary - I rode shotgun on more than a few of those trips.

Enjoy the trip to New Orleans - as you know, you’ll have a great time regardless of the game outcome. And hope you can can make a trip to BR in future to make a tailgate and and game in LSU’s Tiger Stadium. Tailgaters love to feed out of town fans of opposing teams. For all Louisiana’s faults, being hospitable is not one of them.

Good to virtually meet you, and nice post I upvoted, but...

I'm probably about your age. Good sportsmanship and respect are largely lost. I cringe when LSU fans predict big blow outs and say the other team has no chance. I have told my children that the only thing worse than a poor loser is a poor winner and I've seen plenty of both.

You sir, are a gentleman. If I could be in New Orleans for the game I would be happy to buy you the drink of your choice.

Best to you but Geaux Tigers!
